The Venue In Leawood

Ooh I loved the feel of this space as soon as I walked in. The lower ceiling feels intimate in such a large room and the little ceiling lights give a starry night atmosphere. The outdoor patio hung with lights continued that esthetic into the outdoor space too. Clean bathroom with a lovely amenities basket including mouthwash, mints, feminine products... it's a really appreciated touch. This place does their own in house food and beverage so you don't have to coordinate with an outside caterer. The event I attended had taquitos and a great spread of salsa and honestly the tastiest guacamole I've had in ages! Yum!!Easy to find, plenty of parking, what's not to love? Oh and the owner is friendly too.

I assisted my bestie with her youngest daughters wedding yesterday at The Venue in Leawood. It was a little rocky getting to the day but yesterday ended up a beautiful day of celebrating the love of a young family. Elizabeth who always has a smile on her face no matter the task took a back seat during the planning, assisting with mostly paperwork but yesterday and last night, she was a shining star! She had simple solutions and worked her behind off!!! I appreciate Elizabeth's positive nature no matter what was going on. She is DEFINITELY a huge asset to The Venue at Leawood!!!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at The Venue. Julian and Elizabeth were amazing to work with. They went out of their way to make sure our day was everything that we wanted and dreamed of. They were both very detail oriented and helped with the final details when we were decorating the venue. The food was wonderful, Julian did a great job. The Venue itself is beautiful inside and out which allowed for great pictures. The bridal suite was an added bonus that we utilized in the morning to get ready. Julian was so thoughtful to even make coffee for all of us in the morning when we arrived for hair and makeup. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for a wedding reception.

If you are considering this place, you should message me before you do. I need to tell you about the manager of the Venue. He has anger management issues. Not a place I would ever want to have an event. Silk flowers and tacky decor in a strip mall. Very unprofessional staff. Go elsewhere!

I attended a charity event at The Venue Saturday evening. The space was beautifully decorated, the food was phenomenal, and the service was exceptional. They have so much close parking which was handy since there was a surprise shower as some were leaving. This is a great space if you are planning an event!!

My Nephew got married there in Oct 2023. His wedding day turned out to be a rainy one and it took all hands on deck. The grooms grandmother (74 years old) had gotten her hair done earlier in the day and then headed over to The Venue to deliver the gifts to the guests she had made. She carried in one bunch but it was raining so much she asked the owner (the only person she could find) for help. The Owner of The Venue told her that helping her in the rain was not in her job and she had too much to do. At the end wedding I went to tell the owner how disappointed I was hear the owner of any venue would treat a 73 year old women that way, let alone the grandmother of the groom. She laughed at me so loud it caused a big scene. Then she walked off, only to reappear with three of her employees to point me out and show me the middle finger not once but twice. I would never recommend The Venue to anyone for any type of event. They are highly inappropriate and disrespectful.

What a beautiful venue! We attended a wedding at The Venue recently and it was such a lovely place and very well run. The bar staff was great and attentive. When it was time to eat, tables were dismissed and what I assume were the managers would got to the empty tables and clean them up while people were getting there food. The food was great and we had a really good time.

Great place to hold an event. Owners are great at meeting your needs. The food was amazing! We will definitely be back for other events!

1000000% recommend this venue as a place to start your forever. My husband and I had 90 days to plan our wedding and this place was an absolute DREAM. When we first walked in we knew it was our venue and then Julian made it a solid yes after talking to him the first time. He was so helpful and everything was so easy for us. Not only did we only have 90 days to pull this off I was also 33 weeks pregnant for the big day and they took care of EVERYTHING. the decor, food, our guests, it was just an absolute dream. I didn't have to life a single finger on my big day and got to enjoy every minute of it. I am so happy we picked this venue and put our big day in their hands. We have been told so many times by our guests how beautiful and wonderful their food was. Not only that but Elizabeth was also an absolute favorite to work with. She hand made all of our greenery and made the entire venue gorgeous. I could go on forever about how much we loved this place. 100000000/100 recommend.
