The Simple Life

We were visiting for the Fall Festival and found this wonderful spot! Super friendly people, an intriguing selection of antiques with good prices, and wonderful food. The salads were fresh and tasty, We absolutely love the cheesecake and German potato soup. Good coffee, too! They've done such a nice job restoring the old Baptist church with various seating areas to create a cozy and authentic experience. A lovely family runs this place and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful place! We were driving to the Midwest for the holidays, and I needed to stop somewhere to jump on a zoom meeting. Yelp pointed us here, thankfully! My wife and the kids had a blast in here while I was on my call. The food, service and ambiance were all top notch. We met the women who run the place who were as kind as can be, and they really enjoyed entertaining our 3 and 5 year olds. One of the customers bought our daughter some cookie cutouts from the gift shop, which we used to make Christmas cookies! A very memorable stop on our road trip; we'll plan to stop in again when driving past in the future.

Yummy food. Great fast service. Homemade & delicious. Would recommend if you stop in this little town. Cheesy beef soup in a bread bowl special was wonderful

Been to Concordia, MO twice...and each time made it a point to stop by this place. Great place to stop and shop at the antique store and then enjoy some lunch in their cozy diner. The daily soups are always delish and the service is fantastic. If I ever travel by Concordia again...I'll be sure to stop!

The best coffee/lunch experience today. Staff are exceptional and so welcoming! Encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our time together. No rush. Salads were fresh and delicious. Coffee was outstanding!

I had the chicken tortilla soup with half a tuna salad and it was delicious! The waitresses were very attentive and the food was delicious. The little shop area is so cute, and the whole experience is homey! Highly recommend!

Absolutely delightful experience! We needed a break driving along I70 on our way to Colorado. Great brunch menu and interesting selections of Coffees & SpecialiTeas along with home baked pastries. The two sisters who ran the restaurant and antique shop in an old converted church were truly special. Wonderful change from fast food places.

This place is awesome! Food is delicious and top notch, ambiance is comfortable and friendly, people are friendly, helpful, and always welcoming.

I expected more in a small town restaurant; the desert was a large serving covered in artificial whip topping and the taste was average at best; I would much rather have a tastier piece half the size. The specialty coffee was tasty but had no froth and the creamer served was milk not half and half. The server was efficient. It was not worth $10.
