The Rockhill Grille

We love Rockhill! A classic Kansas City restaurant that never disappoints. The burger here is amazing! One of the best in the city! Perfect for a date night or a group dinner.

Driest prime rib I think I've ever had. Good atmosphere, but the prime rib was inedible. Couldn't even eat the leftovers the next day.

My wife had this place on her list of restaurants to try. We went out for dinner with our friends who have lived here for decades, and they said it was one of their favorite spots.We started with the deviled eggs and the Peruvian chicken meatballs. Both were excellent appetizers. Our fantastic server, Morgan, recommended that we order some bread to soak up the sauce from the chicken meatballs. That was a fantastic suggestion because the sauce was divine.All of us had fish for dinner. My wife had scallops and I had the trout. This was the best piece of trout I've ever had. Cooked perfectly. Our friends had the Mahi and Salmon. Everyone loved their entrees. The fried basmati rice was excellent but the Brussel sprouts were the best side. Wow! We are really impressed with the Rockhill Grille. We'll be back!

Came here thinking they had happy hour, but it is 2-5pm soooo we missed it.It was my mom, a friend and I having HH/dinner. Their wine list is very good by the glass, reasonable prices and the food we ordered was delicious.The bruschetta was killer. Our entrees were yummy (all of them). The service was very good and he was respectful that we were all catching up. I've been here for brunch or a quick lunch before but dinner is highly recommended! Parking across the street :)

First time here. We're downtown and just happens to stop in here for dinner. Inside there is a nice bar. The deco was updated and modern. Black and white checker color scheme. They also have a patio outdoor seating right next to the street. We were seated at a two person table along the window. They also have a 2nd level for dining. The staff was friendly and took our order promptly. We both ordered the shank steak. It was delicious. Menu prices seem a little high and selection not too extensive. This definitely would be a place to come and celebrate your special occasion.

KC just doesn't have any knowledge on how to cook seafood, specifically scallops...it's sad, really..please, remind your staff that scallops only need to be 115 degrees and the difference between boiling and searing the sides..couldn't even eat them after a few bites...my partner's fish was decent, and the cocktails were good..but kind of a disappointment for an even dinner

Rockhill Grille is a winning combination of distinctive charm with its history and architecture, and the food and drink and service. Definitely sit upstairs if you have the chance. As for my dining experience, I was hooked the minute I took a sip of my cocktail, their Old Orchard, a take on an Old Fashioned using a cinnamon-apple sweetener. The second one was even better. There's nice and interesting touches to some of the foods as well. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience even better. If you're in the mood for something beyond bbq, consider this place.

We arrived on a Saturday night a little after 7. We were seated right away. Our waiter arrived promptly with water and asked to take our drink order. We started with a calamari appetizer, very flavorful and tender. I ordered the Rock Hill salad with chicken and their vinaigrette dressing, it is huge, very plentiful with chunks of avacado, egg and croutons. One person ordered a cheeseburger with the tater tots, they were delicious. 2 others ordered salads with Salmon. I would definitely visit again. Bryant took great care of us.

My husband and I went to RG tonight. We sat at the bar and the waitresses were very friendly. We had the poke, bruschetta and tots. The poke was to die for and the tots were perfect bar food. Would def recommend!
