The Roasterie Café - Woodside Village

A pretty functional Roasterie from my experience over the years. It's a bit subdued in the atmosphere which lends itself to be a nice, quiet spot to work. I go to Woodside nearby and have found their coffee doesn't quite hit like the Roasterie, so occasionally I'll make my way over here. My latest visit was for a simple black coffee, but also late in the morning which means it could be a bit stale. That wasn't the case at all, it was literally perfect. A single origin Guatemalan roast that made me rethink the beans I've been using at home.. They also always have clean restrooms and tons of places to sit, so again for work or meeting someone it's a safe bet. Big parking lot attached as well. Overall I'm almost always a fan of The Roasterie and their many locations. They're more than reliable, coffee is always good, and lately even their specialty drinks have been hitting for me which is rare. If you're a Starbucks addict, make the switch to The Roasterie and don't look back.

This morning, I made the drive over to the Roasterie. This is a great little location first thing in the morning. It was pretty quiet. Ample parking at this time of day.I ordered a decaf pour over and was also able to sample their Kansas City blend regular coffee. The decaf pour is a very smooth medium to dark roast coffee. It would be considered full body. As a poor pour over it's quite nice.The Kansas City blend is also very nice with some lighter notes and a lighter roast. A berry note at the finish was pleasant.The barista this morning was also the cashier, the cook, the dishwasher and the manager. She was super pleasant while handling the tasks of two or three people that happened to call in sick today. She took it all in stride, not letting herself get overwhelmed.Would highly recommend stopping in and getting your favorite coffee here.

My husband and I stopped in to this coffee house the other day and were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back! We really like the roominess and cleanliness of the business. The sound level was perfect with good noise level of the background music. They had a wide variety on their menu and my pumpkin spiced latte was great and my husband's tea was also good. The service was excellent and I wish I would have gotten the barista's name. She was the only person working and she was very kind and friendly to everyone and had a positive attitude, and worked with diligence and patience to fulfill each person's order.

Roasterie Is Now Officially Part Of My Local Coffee Sunday Series! Upon Walking In I Was Greeted By The Barista And The Cool Esthetic Of This Place! It's Clean, Roomy And Honestly Gives The Small Coffee House Vibe While Still Being Modern. I Love It! I Scoured The Menu And Pasteur Display And Saw That They Had My Favorite Toasted Marshmallow Syrup!!!! I Asked The Barista What She Would Add And She Suggested My FAVORITE COMBO OF ALL TIME White Mocha And Toasted Marshmallow Latte They Had My Vote RIGHT THEN! The Coffee Was Amazing As Expected And The Strawberry Basil Pop Tart And Blueberry Muffin Was A Perfect Pick Me Up On A Sunday Afternoon!

Great coffee. Lovely environment. Plenty of work space including a small patio area. Fast and friendly service. Will be back!

We enjoy this coffee shop for cold brews! My favorite is the Iced brown sugar oat milk espresso shaken with vanilla. The breakfast Sandwiches are pretty good in a pinch. We like the chorizo burrito. Great location and super friendly service... Just not speedy.

This is my go-to "work from home" coffee shop for a few hours in the morning. The drinks are good, but I've always been a fan of Roasterie Coffee. The only reason I didn't give them a 5th star, is they frequently turn up the music around 8am to an almost deafening level for a coffee shop. It's rather obnoxious and usually forces me to leave so I can continue to concentrate.

Big Palestinian flag chalked on their countertop. Noped right out of there and will no longer be purchasing their beans or coffee.

Ordered a 12 0z Chia tea latte. Got an 8 0z and it was lukewarm at best. I asked for less sweet but there was no difference. Think the girl ringing me out was new...., but still. Had to get back to work otherwise I would've asked for corrections. Disappointing.

Absolutely love the coffee here. The ambience is very cozy and inviting. Though I don't live in Kansas City, but was just visiting, I know that I would be coming for this coffee every single day! Definitely worth going!
