It was over $70 for my two daughters and I to skate, rent skates, and have two kid-balance-things. The ice was covered in water, and then frosted over. This made it very difficult to skate. It wasn't smooth, and if your kid falls they get soaked (then really cold). The kid behind the counter didn't know how to look up my online registration. There was nobody on staff actually out at the rink, so kids/adults/actual good skaters were going in all directions. There was no order. If you're looking for the novelty of skating outside at Christmas time, it's fine. If you want to enjoy the actual skating (and pay a fraction of the price), go to Line Creek.

The staff was fabulous, everything was clean and we had a lot of fun. I really didn't want to give 5 stars because I want to highlight a couple things that could be improved, but I also don't want the star average to hinder people going! One, there are no bathrooms. You have to walk to Dillard's which isn't far, but when you have littles taking skates off and putting them back on is a lot. Secondly, the skates weren't very sharp or comfortable. So being that the ice isn't Zambonied since it's such a small more like pond type of ice, I expected the skates to at least counter that. I hope this is helpful because we did honestly love going, love that it's up North and again, we did have a lot of fun!
