The Retro-Cade Arcade

Absolutely awesome. It has all the classics and it's highly affordable. It's got seating and tables for parties. The owner is friendly and super knowledgeable. It's a must visit.

A family owned arcade in the heart of Downtown Leavenworth. It didn't hit me what RETROcade meant until I walked in, most of the arcade games are from the 80s to early 90s. Pay the entry fee and majority of games are free play. You can definitely get your money's worth after a few games. Unfortunately some of the buttons don't work on some of the machines - this is extremely important with those older four player games where the start button is the only way to choose that character. While the arcade is 'Retro' - the inventory seems to be constantly changing and evolving as there was a Pump It Up Arcade game that looks like they were still working on. Now there are more up to date arcades deep in Kansas City for the same arm-band price, but this Retrocade is a nice addition to the local town of Leavenworth.

3/4 of the games you play don't work. Controllers don't work, or the buttons are dead. So you just goto the next one. Same problem. It's cheap so whatever.

Clean, friendly family fun! Had a blast and the price is so affordable. Great place! Has lots of games from the 80s as well as newer racing games. My favorites were Burgertime, QBert and Tapper. My kids loved the ATV game, arm wrestling game and Cruising America.

I was passing by and decided to go in and am glad I did. This was a collection of all the game I played as a kid. The joysticks and steering wheels worked better than I remember from the arcades of my youth. These are not a bunch of junk machines that don't operate correctly like almost every arcade I have visited over the last 10 years. These machines are meticulously maintained and work like they are new. I had a great time.
