This place rocks for kids. Came to visit family for the holidays and found this gem on yelp. So much for them to do and see. This is al Montessori style play and interactive attractions. My one year loved their water section, being extra clothes! We spent 2.5 hours until nap time.

What a fun place for kids! We went when we were in town and honestly, I can't wait to come back when my son is older. He enjoyed the "toddler" area. He spent most of his time in this tiny mirrored room and kept playing with the lights. Then we went to his favorite place the water area. He just splashed away and was as happy as can be. I love the aprons that they provide. I wish more children's places with water did that. Because little babies/toddlers splash a lot more than they should. (My son is 1.)It was a colder day but we also went outside and he got to ride on a little sized strider bike and he was so happy. He didn't want to come back inside. Overall, great times in the area we played. I can't wait to go back when he is older because I know he will have a blast in the other pretend play areas. He's just so little and it was busy day since it was during Thanksgiving break. I didn't want him to get trampled.

This has always been one of my favorite places to take my kids and now I get to take my grandbabies! I loved how clean and well organized it is. The people working there seemed uninterested in their jobs but it was a really busy Saturday so maybe that contributed to it. The admission is comparable to other indoor play places but with much more to do inside and outside.

Love, love, love this place. Such a fun packed place for the kiddos to spend the day! They had water activities, ball activities, crafts, painting, a workshop with tools! Everything kids could be interested in and more. You could tell that they sanitize everything as well and try and keep it as clean as possible! There were workers in each area disinfecting toys as they came and went. The water area was the big hit of course and there was plenty of area for lots of kids to play around, even going on a Saturday at noon, it was surprisingly not as busy as I thought! For the price (16$ for children 2 and older) it was honestly a good deal, they stayed busy and couldn't get enough. I would definitely come back and possibly have a birthday party here as they accommodate for!

Oh to be 5 years old and have an adult take me here for an afternoon! You would have had a very hard time getting me to leave, maybe an ice cream bribe would have worked but only once I was tuckered out! Each scene is immersive and designed to teach Science Tech Engineering Art and Math. Kids won't know that though, they'll be too busy playing shopping mart with those pint sized shopping carts and shelves of cans to realize they are counting them at the registers. Restaurant play area. Water play area. Sports play area. A paddlewheel steamer ship and covered wagon in the travel area. Paint on glass walls and then have fun cleaning up with spray bottles and squeegees. The staff are all wonderful and passionate about learning through fun. And if you don't have kids you should watch their event calendar for adult nights and themed events. Plenty of free parking and easy to access via bus line so the whole community can enjoy this gem.

My son LOVES Wonderscope! There is so much to do, and so many different activities to choose from. My son's favorites are the ball area, the water area, and the grocery store (where kids can shop for pretend food). There is also a newer STEM area, where kids can build things with legos and other materials. When it's nice out, they have a large outdoor area with a sandbox and games. Honestly, this place is great for children of all ages; I would say anyone from babies to 10 year olds have fun here. The basic membership, which we have, is $100 for the whole year, and it has been totally worth it!! We bring my son here at least a few times a month, and he enjoys it every time! I think this is one of the best kids' experiences in the KC area- definitely check it out if you haven't already!

Took my family to this place on Saturday for a family fun day. We got there at 4pm and we were told that they close at 5pm. With that being said, all stations were going to be closed at 4:30pm so we knew we wouldn't have enough time to do everything. However, we decided to stay since my two year old was excited to be there and didn't want to disappoint her. The tickets came out to be $30 even for 2 adults and a toddler. Secondly, Parking was free and it was not hard to find parking either. Wonderscope is a perfect location to grab brunch, lunch, or dinner with dessert go to top the day off. I noticed there's a cookie and creamy ice cream shop next to the museum. Wonderscope was the place to be to play, craft, create, move, shop, splash, shoot, spin, and overall give the kids hours in this creative escape. My daughter's favorite place were the water station and the grocery shopping area. She did not want to leave.Oh did I mention how clean this place was too. I will definitely recommend this place to all parents with kids 2 years old and above.

The Regnier Family Wonderscope Children's Museum of Kansas City will not allow me to leave a negative review on their page. This is my 3rd time having my son attend Wondercamp. He had a fabulous time until we had an incident yesterday that they have reported us to Child Protective Services. I received a call from Wondercamp while I was at work and the lady on the other line said sorry wrong number and hung up. I resumed my day at work and got a voicemail from CPS about an incident report. I was in panic thinking that there was a predator at Wondercamp. My son has ADHD and has been recently switched to a new medication 5 months ago. We are observing his behavior. He gets easily frustrated when kids around him get disruptive which results for him to act out and say words impulsively. The facilitators said they are mandated reporters and that they were concerned that Seth had a behavior change. They did not consult with us first to see if there is anything we can do to help us or him. Wonderscope has jumped into conclusions and made the judgement and made us worry that something really bad happened to him when I got a call from CPS. They have not once communicated their concerns or addressed the issue with us nor his grandparents so we can have full understanding after a week of attending camp. I would have given 5 stars but if there is less than 1 that's what I will be giving. I am very disappointed and sending out a warning to other parents. I thought Wonderscope is a fun place for a child with ADHD but please beware they were not trained on how to respond properly and communicating the issue with the family that supports the child. I am wanting a refund as times are tough now and they will help us more if they return the money and we can spend that on my Son's therapy. They don't know a mother and father's heart and the love we have for our Son. They have hurt us. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND WONDERSCOPE WONDERCAMP. IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR YOUR CHILD DIAGNOSED WITH ADHD, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Great place. There's one older lady that works there on the floor that tends to ruin the experience. Followed my 2 year old around the whole place mean mugging and micro managing his play. Made the experience un enjoyable won't even smile at the kids. Her name is Dulcey.
