The Pot Rack

The equivalent of Pryde's north of the river. Yes, it's a bit smaller, but the options that they do have are excellent. Having lived in Berkeley, my husband I are obsessed with Sharffen Berger chocolate, which is difficult to find out here. Well, the Pot Rack has it--semisweet, bittersweet, unsweetened, and cocoa powder. They also carry Nielssen-Massey vanilla products, Republic of Tea products, and other excellent food stuffs. Additionally, The Pot a Rack carries cookware, bakeware, cooking utensils, cutlery, and many other cooking related items.Customer service is top-notch. Once I called the place and when no one answered I just hung up. No more than 2 minutes later someone called back, profusely apologizing for missing my call. Once I made it to the store, I was offered a cup of coffee or tea to drink while I browsed. And even though I've always dragged at least one of my kids into the store--which I could see as terrifying for a person who owns or works at a store with plenty of things that could break or hurt a kid--we feel welcomed here.Cute place, lots of excellent food products and cooking supplies, great customer service--The Pot a Rack is not just a gem in Leavenworth but in the whole Kansas City area.

Oh, I love just walking around in this tiny store! In addition to the basic kitchen supply, they offer lots of unique gadgets. I also love their assortment of gourmet dip mixes and foods. The staff is always friendly, and the place is packed around the holidays. I will miss The Pot Rack!!

Bit on the high end for prices. Not by much, and it's expected in a small town store. Decent selection of products. Knife sharpening is fast and service is good.

Absolutely love this store. Cute, small, well stocked and very friendly staff (incredibly clean as a cooking store should be). They offer complimentary tea/coffee which really encourages you to try something new. This is great for hostess gifts, birthday gifts or for someone who has it all. Talk with them, let them know what you need and they are great with suggestions. This is the kind of shop that makes shopping fun and a huge asset for downtown Leavenworth. Park in front or at Haymarket Square and pop in whenever in the area. They always have something new. This is THE place to go to for tea, sauces or just something to get out of the normal cooking rut.

I loved the engaging and helpful staff at The Pot Rack. On each visit I have been warmly greeted and offered coffee or tea. The Pot Rack offers wonderful products that make for a lovely gift for your favorite chef. I think it's a little pricey but for a special occasion or gift, The Pot Rack is a charming choice.

The owners and staff go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome from the moment you walk in until you leave. They are knowledgeable on all the products in the store and can help you find that perfect item for yourself or for the person who has everything.

LOVE THIS STORE! Staff is wonderful, the selection of tools, spices, cookware, etc. is fantastic, and their knife-sharpening service is awesome and inexpensive!

Great place with friendly knowledgeable staff. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped. The gentleman that helped me was so nice and answered all of my questions about the products I was looking at. Love this place they don't pressure you into buying anything. Will definitely recommend this store to everyone. Thanks for being so amazing.
