looking for a bite after the chiefs sunday afternoon game to watch the sunday night game. The Peanut popped up as a "local sports bar" chain with good reviews & location was close. TONS of TV's ALL around & all tuned to the game, not a bad seat in the house! menu is much as you'd expect from a sports bar. cant speak to drinks or beer - we were there to eat.i like pork tenderloin sammies - something popular in MO but not much in TX so i decided to try that. hubbie was torn between a burger & ine if the specials mac n' cheese with fried pork belly. he opted for the later.my sammie was fine - hot & crisp pork - but nothing to write home about flavorwise. hubbie was surprised to find his mac n' cheese was sweet! is that a thing in the area? it was kinda strange & kinda worked with salty pork belly - but kinda offputting. some of the pork was tender but a lot of it wasnt.we also ordered mini corn dogs as an app it came with honey mustard for dipping. we enjoyed them, they were hot & crisp and didnt get soggy after they cooled off.i could see this as being a great spot if you wanted to watch a game out & grab a drink & a bite while doing it.waitress was adequate.

The peanut offers some of the best bar food in Kansas City. There isn't much to the place but that's what makes this place so special to me. This is a great bar to go and watch sports plenty of TVs and the service and food is always great. They are most known for their wings and BLTs. The BLTs are piled high with toppings and you can get a triple decker and add some add ons as well. The chicken wings are the full wings and by far the best and biggest wings you can get in Kansas City. I have been to the peanut many times and it never disappoints. They have many items on their menu that are fantastic. The nachos are another great item on their menu. Think about going to the peanut next time for either dinner or going to watch the game. You will be surprised by their food and there is a great vibe and service to the establishment.

Our neighborhood bar. It's got mediocre food, and mediocre service but we always keep coming back. Wings do take a while, around 20 minutes, and you can get them naked, buffalo or bbq. Idk what their ranch is made of, but I could drink it, it's so creamy. Bartenders are friendly if you're needing to sit at the bar for a drink and take out. It's usually not too busy, but on certain nights the way could be 30 min and it's highly disorganized to try to get a table.

Ordered the Santa Fe burger w/ sweet potato fries Was really disappointed for a few reasons. First I ordered it rare and came out medium. There really wasn't a lot of flavor. Mainly my thought is if I'm going to pay $16 for a burger really expected moreI will say the fries were delicious and I don't know where they get their ranch but literally best I've ever had.Wife ordered the tuna sandwich and potato saladBoth were bland and disappointing.The service was ok no comment thereLiked the lights on the ceiling gave it a unique look Will not be returning

We have been to our local Olathe Peanut many times since it opened. We love their wings BUT tonight, the wings seemed much smaller than usual. The service was not great and our server was not very attentive. The one thing that frustrated us were all the extra charges - an extra $0.75 for honey mustard. We asked for a side of ranch and they brought us two sides and then charges us $1.50 ($0.75 each). I would have preferred better communication and although we don't mind paying extra for the sauce, at least bring what we asked for and not more, especially if you are charging extra for each side of sauce.

I love the food here not to mention the patio outside. The server was very polite. The atmosphere was wonderful especially when the weather is nice, you can sit outside and listen to the music and enjoy the fresh air.

So glad to have a Peanut in Olathe. Great staff food is always good. Greta neighborhood bar and grill.

Great food and even better service. Cool atmosphere but very popular so there may be a wait.

The bathroom always smells fabulous. Unreal!! A bathroom should not smell this good! The food is good. The service is above! The wings are amazing! That is all I have to say.
