This place is nostalgic for Me, being the first place in downtown Overland Park my wife and I went to after moving into our nearby apartment. This is a run of the mill sports bar, solid food, solid drinks, and a fun atmosphere and bar that is always good to get some buddies and visit after a day of work for some drinks and to catch a game. The best thing on the menu is easily the mozzarella sticks. I can't imagine finding a better one in downtown OP, much less finding a better one in KC. The Wings, Burgers and some of the subs have all been great, but my fat self is more than content to just get an order of mozzarella sticks and call that a meal.Wings and burgers are also solid and while the pizza doesn't save super well for next day I'd definitely say it's amazing getting it fresh out of the oven and dousing with red pepper flakes and ranch. I love their seasoned fries and tater tots as well Overall, this place is awesome. It's not Michelin Star dining , but I don't ask it to be. It's a hole in the wall I can count on for consistency after a long day.

We gathered here for an after work outing for just drinks but ended ordering food too. Our server did a great job keeping up with our orders. Our HH half order of nachos were better than expected & my soup hit the spot. I'm not a fan of their pizza, maybe it's the sauce but my bf liked it. I would return for the HH specials.

Food - tasty pizza for sureService - goodAmbiance - can be "can't hear my self think" loud especially during Iowa Basketball season.Been going here in downtown OPK off and on for years.Consistently good food (at least the pizzas I've devoured).Located on 83rd you can get in via the front on 83rd OR park in the back, the south side of the OPK farmers market as well.Good tasty pizza with a thick crunchy crust and ingredients that are fresh and do NOT fall off upon you taking a bite.Granted they have one pie that has like 9 ingredients, and I haven't tested that....."future projects".

Took friends to eat at The Other Place downtown Overland Park today. Tuesday is Tenderloin Day. We all ordered the same thing. Boy were we surprised at how huge the sandwich was. And oh so tasty! Our waitress was great! Love all the tv screens! The place was very clean. Will definitely go back to try a different food item.

Excellent sports bar atmosphere. Service was good but our party of 4 was totally disappointed in the oven baked subs. Ridiculously skimpy on the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Mostly just bread. Waste of money. Would def recommend ordering something else.

The other place offers a lunch menu that seemed to be a good deal until I received my grilled chicken sandwich with what seemed like the smallest chicken breast I've ever had on a sandwich before. The sandwich also came with no sauce on the side, which was odd. My partner order the buffalo wrap and it was actually loaded with chicken and very delicious but of course that wasn't available on the lunch special. Overall my experience was okay and at least the staff was friendly.

We have never been treated so rudely ever by a female bartender in our life. Her name is Stephanie. She obviously hates her job hates to wait on people. She shouldn't be in the people oriented business period, She has runoff more business than the owner could bring in. If the owner had any clue about this, I'm sure he would cut her loose quickly. I've never seen a crowd of people afraid to talk to her because they feel that they won't be served I will never ever ever come back to this place as long as she's working there, so Troy do yourself a favor and fire her you will make more money and have happy customers that would enjoy the atmosphere.

We were there on. A Friday night with my husband. When a new bartender walked in starting her job and immediately had atti've added to she ignored us. She didn't want to wait on it. She told us if it's just a minute with the major attitude. She needs to be working in the kitchen as a dishwasher because she has no clue how to treat a customer, so the owner needs to know this. Her name is Stephanie. She's The ru. Dest, bartender, we have ever dealt with. So Mr. Owner, we will never, ever come back as long as she works there.So our suggestion is replace her quickly.You'll gain more business and have Happy customers had a much more friendlier atmosphere
