This is my plate of cold pasta with 8 noodles, cold zucchini and a crust of bread. I could have went to McDonalds and ate a better meal.

Show includes two murders and yet the worst crime was the food. Criminally inedible. Campy show. Go with a group for best time. Take part for a better time. Staff was friendly and engaged.

Always thought this would be fun or at least interesting, but not so much. The venue was overcrowded and hot. The dinner started an hour late and the food was cold. There was very poor direction on how or what to do. Some of the audience members who were given roles didn't even read their materials making it impossible to properly gather clues. It was also much too crowded to move about. The whole thing moved very slowly and I found it hard to care by the end. It took 3 and a half hours just to get to the accusation part and that was dragging so baldy my group left. I'll never know who the killer was, don't even care.

If you've always wanted to experience and be apart of a "who done it" show versus just playing the board game Clue, I highly recommend you give The Murder Mystery Dinner a try. I loved it and had a great time. There was a hiccup with the tickets so the seating took longer than expected but overall my experience was great. I will definitely be attending another show in the future.

The meal was not that good, the preparation could have been better. On the good side after we made rapport with the others at the table turn a bit more interesting. But overall I do not think I would be returning, we can say it was once in a lifetime (not wanting to go again) experience.

Don't go and expect to sit back and be entertained. This is very socially interactive. You get as much fun out of it as you put in. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different. Dining was pretty informal, but the food was good.

This was my first experience with a murder mystery dinner theater and I had a great time! I'm glad I chose to spend our money on this Groupon grab. I suggest guests take full part in dressing up for the act and a willingness to play the part. The Murder Mystery crew was very nice even before the show began. The show was entertaining if you took the cues and interacted with the actors and investigation. Overall, our experience was near perfect. If I could this 4.5 stars I would've in reality but also felt the experience was worth more than 4 too. What knocked the overall experience was slow & sulky service from the venue staff except for the owner ironically. Our experience from the food provided by Stanfords & Sons who hosted the Dinner Theater Performance was below expectations compare to the rest of the evening. My chicken meal was very disappointing and worst of all...ice cold. My girlfriends pasta was a bit better from my sample since it was warm. We were the last table served and it was obvious. Our meals were small but could've been okay to brag about if the food was hot or had much taste. I want to include in this review also acknowledging the complete surprise when shortly after the conclusion the performance, Murder Mystery Staff announced our names as 'Best Dressed in Costume' and presented my girlfriend & I our award paper complete with title! I hope you all read this at the Murder Mystery crew... This next is for you particularly. I chose this date because she loves to dress up and cosplay but she hasn't had much of a reason to celebrate lately as both mother and close aunt lost their battle to cancer within this 2016-2017 period. After completely surprising us with announcing us (HER) as 'Best Dressed', my girlfriend could hardly contain her tears of joy and happiness the whole way home back down towards I-70. Her smile never left that rest of the night I do believe. For that, this long review is my thanks to you! You helped make her night magical and a memory she will always look back on with a smile... Food & service stunk from the venue staff but the Murder Mystery Theater part was above and beyond in courtesy and fun! You MUST try it at least once!

Horrible!! Complete waste of money. You start out by standing in a very long line to give your ticket to someone, and then they dress you in props and make you take a picture(so they can sell it to you for $20 later). Then you wait for someone to seat you. Once your seated, if you got the dinner option, your salad will be waiting for you before you even sit down. A small mound of soggy lettuce. There was one waitress taking orders for drinks. She never even came and took my drink order. I had to ask the manager of the venue of the place hosting to get me a drink. Then the show starts about an hour after you get inside. A lot of facts are thrown at you at once, which makes it confusing, then you have to get up and go "buy" clues to solve the murder, This happens twice (there are 3 acts) and it takes about 30 minutes each. At some point the one waitress started bringing food out, one half of the room was served and finished eating by the time the other half was just getting served. The food, OMG!, Horrible!!. It came out cold, extremely small portion, I had 8 noodles in my pasta primavera, a spoonful of grilled zucchini and a piece of bread smaller then my palm. Not only was it not enough for what you pay to get in and see the show, its was cold and tasted nasty. We were never even served dessert like we were supposed to be. Never got a drink refill, never spoke to the waitress or anyone from this company for that matter. My boyfriend and I had to go eat after the show was over because we were starving. Pretty bad when you pay for dinner and a show and have to go eat afterwards. Save you time and money and skip this so called dinner and show. I will never return. The show its self is in the ranking of a middle school performance. Thanks for wasting our time and not caring enough about your customers to at least serve them a drink and a decent meal. Its all about the money.

Christmas gift from my daughter that I hope wasn't expensive because by the end of it we were just bored to death and wanted it to be over with we didn't care who done it. I think this would be better if they just acted it out there selves then turn the lights out or something and you had to guess who did it. I also think they should just skip the food part altogether. let people eat before they come or after the food is terrible. Worse than hospital food more like jail food or school lunch food.they don't even have salt and pepper on the table for you to try to give it some taste. Plus they are going ahead with the show while you're trying to eat and they asked people from the table to come up and interview them while they are trying to eat.we waited foreverrrr to get our food and the one lady had just taken a bite of her meal and they call her to come up so they can make her a part of the show as she was a Table suspect. They gave one person at each table a card and they are one of the suspects, Also a binder with clues which is a lot of reading really and everyone of the table really needs to read it. If they're going to do food they need to rethink it and just do a taco buffet & let people serve themselves. It's hard to listen to them plus try to read out of a binder plus eat that horrible frozen reheated food at the same time. We sat with six other people we didn't know, so they seat you with more people if there's just two of you which is fine. They were starving too they thought it was taking way too long for the food.

Not a great experience. I feel like they just had a lot working against them. The show started almost an hour late because people did not show up on time. They also spend a lot of time taking your photo before you are seated, which is fun, but not efficient. The venue was so hot, crowded, and the food came out cold. The audience participants were less than enthusiastic about their roles. I really would have rather had actors play all the parts. There was way too much down time during the show and not enough direction on how to make the most of the experience. The actors themselves were fun, but not enough to offset the other negatives.

My husband and I recently took his mother for her Birthday as a surprise. We went to the one located at Stanford's Comedy Club in OP. I was embarrassed to say the least that we considered this for a surprise. You start off by waiting in line to have your picture taken in front of a mug shot screen you have hats, boas, etc. to chose for your photo. They are cheap and in boxes all piled up and appear to have never been cleaned. Once inside you are seated at a table that already has a very small salad placed at every seat along with a watered down dressing. Who knows how long it had been sitting there but everyone it walking by the tables in the back to be seated in the tables its set up very tight so you cant help but bump into a table. Everyone was sitting around looking at other tables to see if they were starting to eat. There were servers running around getting drinks which actually was not bad for timeliness. The Mystery begins by introducing all the possible suspects several of which are part of the audience and are whispered the script as they stand on the very small stage that is just as it appears a small stage. I was expecting a scene like what is shown in the photos but nothing was even close besides the boa or top hat thrown on a quest as a suspect there really was nothing else. Once the Mystery begins they start serving your I suppose what they called your meal. You have 3 choices Chicken, Fish or Salisbury Steak. You pre order your food when you purchase the tickets online we had 2 chicken and 1 fish meal ordered. They still asked every person at the table which they wanted kind of odd since I had already chosen online. We sat at a table for 8 it was us 3 and 2 daughters who also brought their mothers. When they sat down the first plate of chicken everyone at our table looked at each other. On the plate was a very small piece of what appeared to be over seasoned with dried parsley to cover up what was underneath a VERY dried out piece of flat chicken. My fish didn't look to bad but was very small as well. Each comes with green beans and rice. I love both so I was prepared for some kind of yummy green bean casserole or maybe some cooked up with onion and bacon. For the rice I was thinking a flavored rice maybe chicken flavored to compliment the meat of choice. What was actually on the plate was about 6 green beans right out of a can barely warm and some very unflavored sticky white rice. There was absolutely no presentation to the food it did NOT look appetizing whatsoever. The show continues on while you are eating and during the show several times you are given the opportunity to get up wander around and ask the suspects questions. Now there was probably 100+ people there so everyone gets up there is NO room to move about and everyone goes to the most obvious suspects first so you might have 20 people standing around asking questions that you cant hear by the time you get to your suspect to ask the same question everyone else has asked its about time to sit back down. The Mystery was ok again no set and NOTHING like what you see in the photos. The food was so awful I'm not sure I would have given it my Raccoon out back. Desert was very interesting in a small plastic cup NOT a solo cup size but a small 6oz cup with a plastic spoon stuck in it was a drop maybe 2oz if that of I'm not even sure what it was maybe cherry something maybe strawberry but it was worse than the meal.I had always heard good things about the Mysteries and the food was supposed to be good. Maybe it was the location. Not sure if I would try another but I will definitely NOT recommend this one.
