I popped in for some caffeine and sugar after checking out another new restaurant in downtown Parkville this weekend. This cafe is connected to a restaurant that will soon be opening. The quad-shot of espresso was as powerful as I expected and something that I really didn't need that late in the day. They source their beans from Parisi Brothers - solid. My chocolate croissant was made in house and warmed up to my liking. No issues with quality, but didn't make me want to buy several to go, or drive back next weekend as some bakery selections have made me do after an initial taste. The space is casual classy. Order at the counter and then take a seat at the marblesque top dining tables or venture out to the cement slab patio that's dotted with potted pine trees and next to the oddest drive through configuration that I've ever seen; but not before grabbing your rolled silverware in real cloth napkins and self serve water with real glasses. A total 180 in feel and vibe from the very authentic and bohemian coffee shop around the corner. This is where you will meet a business colleague as compared to meeting your stoner friends from college. Very bourgeois; actually that would be bo.urge.ois in this case. No hard feeling pri.ma.fa.cie, I'll probably come back to try the "bistro" when it opens and might even stop in for some coffee and try to navigate that weird ass drive through quasi racetrack design when Parkville parking spaces are at a premium.

We stopped here for lunch on our way up north to explore local pumpkin patches this fall and overall enjoyed our visit. I should note that it was maybe their second or third day open so they were for sure still getting their sea legs. All of the adults ended up ordering the power bowel which was listed under salads. I was a little disappointed as it came with beets (which I don't care for) as that ingredient wasn't listed and I would have requested they hold it off the bowl. Also it really wasn't a salad at all. I thought it might have more of a grain base but it was kind of a hodge podge. Was it good? Yes! I would eat it again but I had more of a salad in mind so I hope they are a bit more clear on the menu in the future. My only other issue was just the cost. It's a pricey place to eat for a cafe. Again all that being said the quality was there the flavors good so I'd return and I hope that it only continues to grow and improve with time. Overall it's a nice addition to downtown parkville and I love to see another great local fresh option.

Grabbed lunch at the market on a Saturday. It is an adorable little spot - you order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. They sell cute little gifts too. I got half salad, half sandwich with a Mediterranean salad and a caprese sandwich. Both were good. My husband got a breakfast burrito and it was very small. I am excited for the restaurant to open!

The Almond milk latte and quiche were delicious! Service was friendly and quick. Quaint location and shop. Parking may be a challenge but plenty of spots past the railroad tracks.

First time there: Overall an excellent evening. Located in a former old fashioned bank, it is one and a half levels and full bar. Dress code is above jeans and casual atmosphere. Plenty of staff. Seats about 40 downstairs, 25 upstairs. Piano playing in the background but not too loud. Overall a nice place. Yes, I will be going back.Drink menu looked good, top shelf drink specials, some beer. Not sure on wine menu. Service was perfect: waiter (Nick) was there on time and anticipated a couple items for us. Food came on time for a nice restaurant, any faster and we would have thought they were pre-cooked.We all had main dinners, pork chops, salmon and steak. The chops were 1.5 inches and cooked perfectly (a little pink and all hot). Was on bed of items including sweet potato and greens. They had good spices and were a good compliment. The salmon came similarly only with a white potato as part of the base. Cooked well. We also had the meatballs as an appetizer. One per person and were great, not sure of all the spices but each of us loved them-highly recommend.
