The Little Russia Chili Parlor

Loved this place so much! Truly local, we found it by using the "lunch near me" function. The regulars greeted us warmly and guided us through the menu. We started with chili this time but next time we will try the sandwiches. Any place with homemade pickles wins my heart - they had three kinds. And a cracker trough made from a garden planter. And pimento cheese. Basically, it was amazing. And the chili was super tasty too.

Food was extremely fresh and chili was not over spiced. Service was excellent and willing to answer any questions about the food.Ambiance was extremely casual and a bit noisy.

Local business at its best. Probably the most personable folks ever. Great chili, daily specials, and beer-Thank you!!

Not the old Porubsky's. chili not as good in my taste and the ambiance is not the family friendly of the past. That said, the food was okay and i would not discourage anyone from eating there .

My niece was a bartender in Omaha and the bar used the pickles from this place prior to reopening as a chili parlor. I have to say the new pickles are much better. Great taste and crunch. Other pickles were more of a dare sue to blowing up your nose. I never tried the previous chili but this chili is very good. And it came with sides of potato and macaroni salad. All delicious. Topped it off with a cold bottle of beer and great interaction with the owner. Perfect little spot. I'll pass on to the Omaha bar about the pickles.

My Husband Loved the Tamalies, But, vacationing in New Orleans Your smoked Po Boys need work. The quality of the sausage was divine. I realize that this was the first day they had this special. According to New Orleans Po Boys, Cut the smoked sausage up so it is not the strongest flavor. Every bite should be an integrated taste. Serve it on a french baguette and add Remoulade Sauce. We took home Chilli and Cinnamon Rolls to try tonight. I had the chili....it was excellent.

The best! What was an old family grocery and deli used to be in this location, and when they closed we were BUMMED. But... so happy to report new owner has reopened this little Russia chili parlor! So so good. The pickles, the cheese dip, the sandwich's, the chili oil. Get your A$$ In here to try it! Bomb.com !!! Get down there on weekend before 2-3 pm for lunch. Go say hi to John, super super nice guy.

Interesting little spot off the beaten path, actually the old Porubsky's location. I came for the chili and it hit the spot. I topped mine off with some onions and Greek yogurt (at home). It was great. The other half of the building is going to be a bar of some type. If you are looking for a nice lunch or just need to get your chili fix this place is a good choice..

Best chili in Topeka. They have onions, cheese, crackers and Jalapeños as toppings if you request them.

So glad they reopened! Newly remodeled and comfy inside. Had the chili, chili dog, hot pickles, bread and butter pickles, and side of potato salad. We both loved everything. Service was very friendly and fast. They have a chili Fixin's bar so you can add whatever you want on yours. They also have sandwiches, sides, freshly made pimento cheese and cinnamon rolls. Highly recommend.
