The Lemon Cake Bakery

Checked out this bakery for the first time today. Enjoyed visiting with the owner and learning about this family run business. Tried a sugar cookie and got some lemon cupcakes to go. There is not a single thing to critique, it was all delicious and high-quality. Highly recommend.

This new bakery is from the people behind Cafe Europa. They offer a variety of cakes, cupcakes, pies, brownies and cookies, along with teas and Messenger coffee.The trolley trail cookie ($3.55) was fresh and delicious with a good variety of flavors and icing.The labeling at the counter was good, but did not include prices, and there was no menu board. I'm not a fan of mystery pricing.I found the service at the counter to be welcoming, cheerful and knowledgeable - nice!The interior was nicely decorated and inviting with seating for two and background music. I also noticed a patio.Overall, pretty good!

Just the lemon cake, please. how lovely to have a place where truly you can get exactly what you came for - the most lovely luscious lemon cake. The interior is well appointed, the furniture is wrought iron so it's not meant for you to stay too long but it's enough for a comfortable coze. the lighting is lower, which is also nice. there's also a patio area but it's hot so enjoy that at a different season. The hours are short but it's a bakery. Had a lovely chamomile tea and of course the yummy lemon cake.

Update, the lemon cake was excellent. Can't stop eating it. Note: If you want the smaller size you need to order ahead.

We had company in from out of town and wanted to go somewhere to get a good homemade dessert, this was not it! Cookies were way overpriced and didn't taste homemade, also very limited variety of products. I'm not sure if we caught them on an off day but will not be going back.

The lemon cake is outstanding! It has a nice, intimate, ambience, and very friendly staff.

Cute cake and coffee shop just down the road from our house. Awesome breakfast pastry and coffee. Can't wait to come back for the actual lemon cake!

Sad, dry, and clearly day old scones for $6 each and very limited selection (just cookies, cupcakes, and scones when I went in on a Friday morning). I'll drive to Dolce for my breakfast pastries in the future.
