The Legacy At Green Hills

This was a perfect location for our daughter's autumn wedding! Alex and Quinton were wonderful hosts, providing detailed and clear instructions and options for their services and expectations. We were thrilled with the availability of items we could use to decorate for the wedding and the event turned out beautifully. This is a beautiful site for any special event. The owners are very clear with their information for the use of the site. All anyone needs to do is actually read and follow the directions. I would and will recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a venue for a special event.

Alex is one of the best host that we have every experience! The Legacy was AWESOME!! Stunning views along with the quietness of the country just outside of the hustle and bustle of town. You are literally minutes away from stores, eateries, or anything you can think of but yet when you are at the house you would think you were 30 to 40 miles away because of how quiet t is. The house was beyond expectations from the excitement driving up the driveway to finding out there was a pool table in the basement!!!! For the age of the house you couldn't tell once you were inside other than what was meant to have that older home look (fireplace, original brick wall. Etc..) awesome updated kitchen that I truly spent most of my time in their!!! I highly recommend you check this venue out you will not be disappointed!!!

I first reached out to the owner of this venue on 4/23/23, in which she was very responsive, kind and open to host my fathers celebration of life. Since then, she has stopped responding completely and my mother has been waiting to host a "pending cancellation" date for my father's celebration of life for over 3 weeks now. My father passed away from cancer, and Alex said she's not going to pressure the bride of the cancelled wedding bc she was recently diagnosed with cancer. I can fully respect that, however we only need the venue bc of the same reason, except it was a cancer death. I'm very disappointed with Alex's lack of professionalism, communication and overall her inability to manage multiple clients at once. In my honest opinion, having planned many events in my life, she cares more about the additional money a wedding would bring in, than actually providing fair and equitable customer service to her clients. Very disappointed. House venue is also smalls, old, outdated and very choppy small rooms. Outdoor venue is beautiful, but only in decent weather.

If I could give this place a 0/5 I would. I attended a wedding here this weekend and it was the worst experience for him and his bride. For starters, at the rehearsal dinner there was 20 MPH wind and they wouldn't let us shut one of the THREE doors of the facility? Saying they needed to have all three open for "fire hazards" (if they would Google the fire safety code, clearly says you only need two open) The owner texted the mother of the bride "if you show up one minute before you purchased you will wait in your car", same thing happened on the rehearsal dinner, people showed up 15 minutes early and they texted the parents of the groom "tell these people to wait in their car". How disrespectful. The heaters turned off halfway through the reception, the owners were EXTREMELY disrespectful, and there was a huge lack of communication. I would not recommend booking at this place to anyone, if someone is getting married, you should be more respectful and happy for the couple. I will never understand the lack of decency and wanting to make money off a couple rather than hoping their day be beautiful. I would recommend if you are planning a wedding, steer clear of this place unless you want multiple instances where they ruin your whole day.
