The Landing Zone

Fantastic location to watch planes on the runway while enjoying a delicious meal. Restaurant is uniquely located within a regional airport. We went for breakfast and it was delicious. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy. Omelette are great, too. Service is friendly and fantastic. Can't wait to return. Was lucky enough to be able to tour the hangar next door to the restaurant.

I've been a few times, always great food and service. Sundays are always packed, but what place isn't that serves breakfast.

Service,atmosphere,food all 5 stars! Watch flight school and planes take off and land. The chicken noodle soup is as comforting as biscuits and gravy! Almost like chicken and dumplings. Cannot wait to come back.

The wait was worth the food. I feel like Sundays are usually pretty busy anywhere especially for breakfast. The waitress we had must've been having a hard day and it was pretty busy. I think if it wasn't too hectic we would've gotten attended a lot sooner and would've had been out pretty quick. The place was great the booths were comfy and the view we happened to have we were able to see planes take off and land but we mainly saw some just stationed. Aside from it being my first time in there I would definitely go back in person but also would do carry out.

The best place for breakfast or lunch in Jefferson City. The place is very modern and you can watch planes land and takeoff while you eat since it's at the airport. The food is fantastic and won't break the bank. The staff is the friendliest you'll ever meet, they make you feel like family.

We've been eating there since they opened. The food and service have been very good. But, here lately, the food has been not so good.Today I ordered the Open Face pork roast with the gravy on the side. The pork came out loaded with fat and grease. Wow, good thing I got the gravy on the side. It was so over-loaded with salt I could not eat it. It also had an overpowering taste of celery. I wonder if the cook spilled the celery salt shaker in it?I will not go back!

Not sure which was fastest - server Brandy or the chef! Great All American breakfast!!!

I just had the chili in this restaurant, and it is amazing! And the service is excellent!

Really good food but the service is so-so. If you have Brandy as your server, find another station. Worst and rudest server I have ever had. Even people at other tables complained to their servers on how we were being treated. Really like the food and the atmosphere. Would love to go back and eat there but Brandy ruined the experience for us.
