The Landing Bistro and Lounge

Went to The Landing on a Saturday evening with our group of six. Fortunately we called in advance for a reservation so we got our table quickly. They had a lengthy wine selection that didn't personally appeal to me (the Chianti was not great). Nice selection of appetizers. The mushrooms were really good and recommended. The Ribeye was just OK, it was not garnished with anything like butter, parsley or any other accoutrement that would go with a ribeye. Restaurant was out of soup, two sizes of steaks, all chicken and the only vegetable was asparagus. Hence the three star rating because a Saturday evening meal during the tourist season should be better prepared.

In town favorite...Sunshine... Rare Prime Rib with double order of garlic mashed potatoes, hold the veggies. Side salad with goats milk ranch. Cupcake... mussels with white wine lemon crème sauce and toasted French bread, plus a side of summer squash, zucchini and onion sautéed to perfection. Very tasty! All! Had a glass of Cab. Sauv. A little bright for my liking, but refreshing. Alyssa (sp?) was a great server; knowledgeable and attentive. Dished back what Sunshine was dishing out! Place was steady for a lovely Saturday evening on the harbor. If you're in Warsaw, MO and need a nice evening of dining give The Landing a go.My $0.02.

The food is great. I had the salmon with bacon jam. The service is friendly and pleasant. We ate on the deck on a sunny day with a light breeze. Couldn't ask for better...

We were excited to try this spot while at the lake. Walked away, unsure we would return.The deck we sat on was waterfront and beautiful, and the waitress that took care of us was very friendly.We got a steak sandwich and a salad. The salad was good, but the steak sandwich was more fat and gristle than it was steak. There was supposed to be cheese on the sandwich, but I do not remember it.Great location but food was less than desirable.

It was "late" for Warsaw and everything seemed closed. I called the this place and the very nice lady assured me that they could feed us. Our server was super and she handled this crew of out of town fisherman with ease. They have a good selection of adult beverages. I chose the filet, I asked that it be rare rare. It was and it was amazing, the crab cakes were hot and tasty. I really don't think you can beat the great service, Rare steak and an ice cold beer. I thanked them for staying open past 8 .I plan to eat and drink here again.

The hamburgers are great and fresh salads. If u sit outside, beautiful view smoking allowed outside. Wine and beer, is served. Parking a bit tight, in the back. I didn't care for their house wine. They can do betterService with a smile

All the way from California and going to say this place is a must.Food delish and the service was great. Lannah recommendation was excellent. Mushrooms paired with a glass of wine.

The last time I ate there the food was very good and the service was excellent. I thought the prices were a little high but they are everywhere.

I've eaten here a few times, and this is the best restaurant in Warsaw. A little pricey, but well worth it.

The location was very nice. They have open seating and we were sat very quickly for a Saturday night. The servers were nice, but there was definitely a wait for service. Overall the food was pretty good. The goat milk ranch was dull and flavorless on the house salad. They make a really good BLT. The crab cakes were okay. I think this place should be tried.
