If I could, I would give this bed and breakfast a 4.5/5 stars. This was my first actual real B&B experience. I like the family vibe I got out of it. There's 4 rooms in total I believe. The house has so much history. My boyfriend and I stayed there. We love history and spooky things, so our stay was so much fun! The host or house manager (I'm can't remember her title) was very professional and polite. There is a down stairs common area, which was nice, but we didn't utilize much. I know with covid things are different. We thought it might of been cool to have more comfier seating down there. It was a little dungeon like. I loved the snacks and drinks that were provided. And I thought the board games were a great touch! As far as the room goes, we stayed in the upstairs room with the 2 beds ( I can't remember what it was called). It was huge! We loved the cookies left for us in there. And we thought the local beer mini fridge was just adorable. The wall are a little thin (it's an old historical house) we were able to hear the people below us yelling. The hot water in the shower does run out. I tried to shower a couple times and it couldn't get hot. I had to wait an hour or so to shower. Kind of annoying but justified. We loved the little details of our room. We just thought it was cool. We also loved the breakfast! We felt like royalty getting served on. It was so cute. The food was good and hot. No complaints with that. Also the location is absolutely perfect. It is right next to the o malleys and a quick walk downtown. I would definitely stay again!

We stayed overnight and overall had a good time! The location is great as just a few steps away is O'Malley's Pub. Our host, Kenna was very welcoming and made delicious breakfast! On the down side, when we arrived we had to pick up our keys at St George's Hotel (our fault really as we came in later) and the rooms where a little dark and somewhat cluttered. The place is decorated with like a Celtic medieval vibe to it, but some things are just in the way. Bed was comfortable.

Since there aren't many reviews, I'm going to be thorough in mine. I was objective as possible, and you can take it or leave it. I booked the Trevor Chadwick room as a little surprise weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. The room itself was really nice. The room was huge with a queen-sized bed and a large bathroom. That's about all the room had going for it. While the decor was appropriate for the room, it's simply just for display apparently. The furniture not only looked vintage, but they also felt vintage. I liked that they matched the ambiance of the room, but they were extremely uncomfortable to sit on. We arrived to find André's Confiserie Suisse mint chocolates on the pillows and freshly baked brownie meringues. I didn't care for the brownie meringues. Little did I know, this would allude to another problem down the road. You also get a 6-pack Weston Brewery beer sampler, which was cool, but neither my boyfriend or I are big alcohol drinkers. This would probably make a lot of other guests happy though. There are also other snacks provided in the room, with additional snacks and beverages in the Parlor Room a floor below. There are also games and other things for entertainment. Back to the room, or more specifically, the bathroom... The shower is awful. I mean, it's the worst shower I've ever had. There is barely any hot water, and the water pressure is non-existent. It was worse than my week-long, bug-infested, cold, Panamanian outdoor showers. At least the water pressure wasn't as pitiful as it was here. Not to mention, the tub didn't drain very well either. So, not only are you getting a paltry amount of water, you're stuck standing in it too.As for the breakfast the next morning, I didn't even have high expectations. If I had realized how little of it I would end up eating, I would have gone somewhere else. Alas, I figured it's a B&B, there should be decent breakfast. Nope. The "chef" (I genuinely want to see credentials) prepared overly sweet Cinnamon Crumble Coffee Cupcakes, subpar Pecan Bars, and cold "Cheese Puffs" to start off with. The "cheese puffs" are actually a Brazilian cheese-stuffed bread called Pão de Queijo, which the chef claimed to be trying on us. It also happens to be one of my favorite Brazilian foods. No one else at the table knew what I was talking about, but the chef did confirm I was correct. However, she didn't prepare them properly because instead of being round puffs, they resembled flat, dense mini pancakes. Also, they weren't served warm, nor did they taste fresh-baked, which leads me to the conclusion that they had been prepared the night before. Next came the canned cherry pie filling topped on barely-done crêpes stuffed with what tasted like lemon and sour cream filling. It was the worst crêpe I've ever had. The process of serving us was also terrible. She would be making the crêpes plate by plate; so every 5 minutes or so, someone else would get a plate, hence why the crêpes were not properly done. I'm assuming she only had one crêpe griddle, so she was rushing through it. By the time the last person got their plate, everyone had finished. It's just incredibly poor timing. It was obvious that no one cared for the crêpes, and my boyfriend was the only one who cleaned his plate. But he's also always starving in the mornings, so I give him that. Every plate came with scrambled eggs and two sausage links. One of my biggest food pet peeves is when foods that should not be touching are touching. In this case, it was the cherry topping touching the scrambled eggs. I already don't particularly enjoy scrambled eggs, let alone cherry-flavored eggs. As for the eggs, they were cold and soggy, like they had been sitting out for awhile, while she was preparing the crêpes. I'm telling ya, warmers are your best friend when serving a large crowd (there were 10 of us)!And yes, I know why people serve things on the same plate, but I'm a huge supporter of serving savory and sweet foods on separate plates. I don't dig sweet and salty like many others do. For a setting like this, I would highly suggest buffet-style with warmers, like you would find at most restaurants. It would have made the whole breakfast experience so much easier. Yes, you might not end up making enough or making too much, but with the amount of food left on people's plates at the end of this breakfast, I'm sure the waste would have been significantly less with something more traditional, such as waffles or French toast. Deciding what filling people will like in a crêpe is a big no-no because not everyone will like the same things. Setting out toppings instead would be better, so people can create their own. Also, plates were not cleaned up an hour later when I came to checkout. I'd come back and stay here, but I would find breakfast elsewhere. Overall: 3/5 -- I'm weighting the room heavier, since this is what I was mostly paying for. Food: 1/5Atmosphere: 3/5Service: 2/5

Everything was going pretty well here, during our stay. Until......I turned on the shower. It probably would have been more efficient to spritz myself with a water bottle. I mean, I can't explain to you enough that when I say it was a bad shower, it was the worst I have ever experienced. And I have even stayed in a Motel 6 and a Ramada Inn before. Despite the carpet stains, loose ceiling fans, and foggy windows at those places, at least the showers were better there. The water like, barely spat out of the shower head that was about the size of the thimble from Monopoly. And when I turned on the bath function, hot water came out. But when I switched the shower valve, it turned cold. The shower alone literally knocked it down about 1.5 stars, by itself.Which sucks, because I really liked just about everything else about our stay. I understand that bed & breakfasts are traditionally a southern sort of style, what with the wooden rocking chairs and the flower art on the walls with distasteful golden picture frames. But they're still a little too Little House on the Prairie for me, ya know? Here, I didn't get that vibe. My girlfriend booked us the Trevor Chadwick room, and it was tastefully decorated with a consistent theme of deep reds and vintage decor that was glamorous but not overly so.I almost rated it a 3, but I figure that's a little harsh considering my only real gripe is getting spit on in the shower (#firstworldprobs). As far as the food, I liked it, myself. But I could tell the consensus around the dining table of about eight others was negative (#firstworldprobs). Servings included these weird cheese puffs, pecan bars, coffee muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and cherry crêpes with filling that was pretty much sour cream and that's it.Room: 4.5/5Food: 3/5City of Weston, Mo.: 3.5/5Shower: The shower scene in 'Psycho' was better than this nonsense.

Beautiful large rooms with antiques and comfy king bed, complimentary snacks (& fresh cookies!), drinks (coffee & craft beers!!), common room with games & movies, adorable outdoor seating areas, walking distance to downtown Weston, stumbling distance from the brewery, and amazing breakfast made by the chef/host Kenna. She even customized for food allergies AND made it taste great (not easy!). A wonderful way to enjoy this quaint town. Thanks for everything!!

We have stayed at this location before and have been very happy with the facilities, location and breakfast in the mornings are something to look forward to. Kenna is quite amazing with her presentation and the quality of food exceeds any expectation we've ever had. Unfortunately, a quick getaway this time quickly turned into an unpleasant experience. After dinner both of our keycards stopped working. We called the Inn for assistance and knocked on the main door but received no response. Luckily, another patron of the Inn easily slid a credit card into the room door jam and unlocked our door. We were lucky to have someone help us get into the room but equally concerned with the fact that the room door had to be left open/unlocked for the remainder of our stay to avoid future lockout situations. Additionally, the lack of effort it took for someone to open our door is more than concerning for safety reasons. To top off a lovely day and a hiccup with our keys not working the Inn elected to charge us extra (above our nightly rate) for unknown reasons. Again, calls to the Inn were not answered or returned. I don't usually take time to write reviews and would have overlooked our room keys not working if it wasn't for the unknown charges on our card. It's sad to experience what I would call a potential for a 5-star review be handled so poorly due to a lack of any response from the Inn. I hope this review prompts the Inn to improve the quality of communication and duty of care for their patrons.

Absolutely beautiful B & B. The rooms are huge with beautiful antique furnishings. Very nicely decorated. The snacks available were yummy, and breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this B & B to others.I gave it 4 stars because we were 1st time visitors, and I personally am appreciative (others may not be...I understand) of over communications. For example, after being nosy and looking into other open rooms for our next visit, we noticed that another room had information as to where to meet for breakfast and at what time. Since there is no staff on duty after 4pm, we wouldn't have had anyone to ask about what's available to us. In our 'wonderings', we also discovered a room in the basement with games and refreshments. Another great plus to the establishment! The B & B is also located close (walking distance) to other stores, restaurants and shops, which is great, as we weren't too sure where we were suppose to park our car with no parking on the premise.I think you'll really enjoy your stay here, but if it's your 1st time, please ask more questions then I did, so you know what's available to you during your stay.

What a great place for an overnight trip, this place exceeded all of our expectations! Kenna was so kind when we had to reschedule for following week. The pictures on the website do not do it justice, we stayed in the Trevor Chadwick room, welcoming and warm are just a couple words I would use to describe it; there was also lot of complimentary snacks and a small fridge with beer from the brewery. We enjoyed O'Malley's next too, very convenient! Also great!Outback there is fire pit to enjoy, it was a perfect end to our evening.Breakfast in the morning was delicious, made by Kenna! What a great place,I could go on, but highly recommend for a quick getaway.
