The Historic Browning Inn

I HIGHLY recommend this inn full of charm! Liesl and Ashley were the sweetest, most thoughtful hostesses you could ever hope to meet. Together, they created the most flavorful food my palate has sampled in YEARS. These talented women served our group not only a scrumptious and savory breakfast scramble, but soft and chewy homemade yogurt parfaits for something sweet, alongside a pile of crispy, cinnamon sugar-dusted donuts that were to DIE for! Book a reservation the next time you're in town, if you enjoy comfy, cozy, and crazy good attention to detail and design.

We had an excellent experience and night at the Browning Inn. The innkeeper went above and beyond making our stay special. The breakfast was delish it included an egg scramble, yogurt parfait, fresh fruit, pumpkin donuts, and a lovely coffee/tea bar. I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast. It was such a treat for my husband & I to have a night away and not have to travel far, we live in Lee's Summit! Also the location is awesome you can walk to restaurants, shops & bars!

The Historic Browning was a perfect setting for our girls' weekend. The house is spectacular and Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We were completely spoiled with all the little touches. I would recommend 100%

Don and I were married on November 5th this year and to my surprise we made our way to The Historic Browning Bed n Breakfast after our reception. We were greeted at the door by Cynthia and she asked when do you want breakfast? It topped my whole wedding day! The room was welcoming with the door sign- Don and Anne plus the Mr & Mrs sign on the bed with chocolate truffles. Our breakfast started with a light fruit parfait with a hint of carmal, mimosas, the best eggs Benedict I've ever had plus a lemon pound cake. Don was able to create some of the menu when he went to tour before our wedding. I can't say enough about our stay - I was on cloud nine and felt like a bride princess!!!
