The Goddard School of Shawnee

You won't find better care for your child. My child has been with them since she was a little over the age of two. It has been such a great experience. She has learned so much at such a young age. She's very advanced. All of the stuff genuinely cares about every single student as well.

You will not find better care for your kids! Dedicated staff who truly care for and engage with the children. Our son happily runs into the building every day because he is so excited to go to school! Staff send lots of pics and videos daily and are very responsive.

We love this school! Our oldest moved from another daycare and started at the Goddard School at 1 yr old. We immediately saw a difference in his educational growth. The Goddard School actually teaches children vs watching them like some other daycare programs. I know that taking him to school everyday is fun, exciting and a great place to learn. Our 2nd little one just started at 3 months and I am equally pleased. Knowing that the teachers and staff love our kids is definitely worth sending them here. We absolutely love the Goddard School and would recommend it to any parent.

We have sent of our children to Goddard in Shawnee for years and highly recommend it. The kids love their teachers in every classroom and the teachers are great with the kids. Our youngest wants to be a teacher when she grows up and be just like her teachers at Goddard! Last year, our oldest moved to kindergarten in a new school and we were a little nervous about the new school, homework, etc. She was actually very well prepared and further ahead academically than others in her kindergarten class that it was such an easy transition.

We love the Goddard school! The teachers are amazing and the facility is so clean and bright. My two kids have learned so much at such young ages.The care and attention my kids have received has been wonderful the years they have been attending. I highly recommend The Goddard School in Shawnee for anyone looking for great childcare.

My child has been in the Goddard School program (as a Giraffe and then a Zebra Pre K) for 6 months.Three points that stand out are:* The owners (both) work very hard to keep a clean and manicured facility. Great attention to detail!* They take the extra steps for visiting on site programs: Guest Speakers, Firemen, Policemen, Puppeteers etc. It gives me a piece of mind with on-site-field-trips, until my child is older.* The curriculum is excellent, it is well structured and scheduled, innovative, creative with a great offering from ABCs, Art , Computer lab, Language arts, Math, Motor Skills, Music, Outside time, Science, Social Science, Sign Language, Summer Splash Days to yoga. What a range! Daily emails accompanied by photos with eating reports and nap times. Compared to most general education, the investment in your child HERE is well worth it!

Our pre-schooler has been at Goddard since he was an infant and we have been impressed every minute along the way. Not only do they have an enriching and amazing curriculum, but you can tell that the teachers truly love and care for the kids. My son still runs up to give extra hugs to his former teachers each day. Even though he is young for his class, Goddard has well prepared him for kindergarten. As a 4-year old, he can name the President and the planets, he knows how a plant grows and what creates a tornado, he recognizes sight words and he can write his name and count to 100. The teachers at Goddard make learning fun and clearly enjoy what they do. Goddard makes you feel like family in that the owners and all of the teachers know who you are and always great your child by name. It is a wonderful environment for your child to grow and learn and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
