First time here. Ate downstairs at the restaurant. Not crowded at 8 pmBut food was great had a lobster avocado quesadilla and a chicken sandwich they were good had a beer and had and a Cucumber Mule it was very good.Checked out the arcade on the second floor it was a little busy and then went to the third floor where they have a dance club that night band was going to play reggae and it would been a $12 cover don't like reggae and don't like paying $12 so no interest in that. But again the food was good or waitresses great I did like the atmosphere is all decorated pretty neat and I do like where it's at so I will give it another try

We came on a Saturday and it was our first time noticing this place was open for business. It wasn't very packed, but looked like a relaxing bar with pool and good vibes. I loved the mural of the French bulldog in the front, literally best thing ever!

Great live music, small plates and cocktails! Third floor of Broadway Bistro. Great addition to The Garment District neighborhood.

I love Club 1000. Right when I walked into the space, I knew this was where my wedding reception had to be. It was hardwood floors, white walls, 18 feet until the ceiling and clean/spacious bathrooms - it was perfect. So many reception sites have crazy carpet or something else that would be difficult to work with, but Club 1000 was a lofty blank slate.I had heard from other brides that John, the owner, could be difficult to work with but I had no problems. I think he is just like so many other vendors, where as long as you play by their rules and don't break contract - you'll be golden. He even let us switch some of the beers offered to different ones.My favorite thing that Club 1000 did was the "mock weddings." Every once in awhile on a week night they would gather one of each vendor, set up shop and then invite future brides to attend the "dress rehearsal." It's better than a bridal show because you get to see everything in action - the DJ is playing, the bartender is mixing drinks, the caterer has all food set up, the cake is decorated and waiting to be cut, etc. It's just a great, pressure-free environment to be in.The location is also great. After the reception lots of guests continued to party at Tanners, which is in the same building, or next door at The Quaff. My only issue with Club 1000 was with the alcohol age limit. If someone was 7 or older, I had to pay $16 for them to drink, which is rather absurd.

Great service, fun atmosphere, excellent bar keep, solid food. After The Majestic across the street treated us like dirt bags (so much for reservations at a steakhouse which is probably 6 months or less from closing), we popped in (starved and super annoyed) and were treated like royalty. What more could you ask for? It's low key and chill. Really nice staff and food was hot and tasty. I'm not giving it 5 stars since it's totally a bar...don't expect fine dining, but do expect a hearty tab if you like the good liquor!! We did a goofy trivia and laughed along with the MC. It's all good. Get the fried pickles - you will not be disappointed!!

First time here last night for a free show, it's a really great place! We were on the third floor and we were able to order from the kitchen through the bartenders without having to go downstairs. After the show we visited the arcade on the second floor where they have skeeball, basketball, pool and more. Such a great and fun place!

A small confession to start this review - I used to live across from this venue and as such, have peered in on people's parties and weddings many times. It always looked pretty nice. This weekend, I actually attended a wedding and reception here. The wedding was on the third floor and I was impressed by how warm and inviting the space felt. Lots of wood and early evening sunshine flowing in.The reception was held on the 2nd floor. Again, the room was staged beautifully. It was filled with twinkling lights and happy people. There were natural niches for the bar and the photo booth. The whole space had a good flow. The staff was friendly and attentive without getting in the way.The only tiny complaint I had was that the paper towel in the Ladies' ran out early in the night and was never replaced. I would definitely consider Club 1000 for an event.

Early in 2008, I agreed to go on a date with my future husband to watch the NCAA tournament at Tanner's at 10th and Broadway. Over three years later, we got married in the same building. What used to be Tanner's is now converted into a nice rentable venue. You would never know that tons of buffalo wings and were downed in that place. While we didn't choose to rent that particular floor, it was a nice little twist to our wedding on the penthouse floor to be able to say to guest we had our first date right below.Hardwood floors and white walls with twinkle lights provide a simplistic, yet elegant space. There are great dressing rooms if you choose to get married there as we did. You can rent multiple floors, including one for a wedding, a reception, and an after party. We chose to have everything on one floor, and the staff easily converted everything in 15 minutes, which was perfect for guests to go through a receiving line and then grab a drink from the bar.Oh, and as for the bar and rental package, it's not inexpensive, but not outrageous. Just be sure to read your contract thoroughly. You must buy rental insurance, you must give an additional $500 deposit for possible damages, you must pay for bartenders in addition to the cost per guest. These three details might sneak up on you if you're not paying that close of attention, which to be honest in my out-of-town planning-i-am-not -the-biggest-fan-of-weddings- mindset I was in. Don't let this detract away from how nice the venue is.Although my grandma did wearily say, "You're getting married in a club?" I thought it was a delightful place for a wedding. There are quite a few rules, but the owner will work with you to a point. For example, we wanted a photo booth for a certain amount of time, and we were able to work in a set-up time that didn't force us to pay for more than we wanted. The DJ and the caterer are required from the Club's list, but those were two of the best things about the wedding.Oh, and when we left the flower girl basket at our rehearsal dinner venue, the Club 1000 staff helped us fashion one out of paper and fake flowers, and it was very cute.

My daughter and her fiancé decided they needed to get married in six weeks leaving me a small window of time to plan a wedding but I did it. I found this venue online and went to meet with John. John made everything easy which took a lot of pressure off of me.The venue on the 6th floor, Penthouse 1000, was absolutely beautiful. The backdrop is the KCMO skyline which is breathtaking and wonderful for pictures. The vendors that John has for you to chose from are amazing. The DJ we used kept the party going and everything on track even though it was hectic. The bartender was fun and professional and the caterer was very helpful, friendly, and accommodatingI didn't have to hardly lift a finger for the wedding or reception other than the decorating because they do most of it for you . I highly recommend Club 1000.

I am still confused about what their restaurant's official name is--we've seen them be called The Garment House, Broadway Bistro, and Beer30. But honestly, it makes no difference.. the food is so delicious that I honestly just don't care. My hubby and I have probably gone 5-6 times since living in the area and we have had tacos, burgers, chicken strips, fries, pretzels, salads, etc. and nothing has ever disappointed. The food (and drinks!) are affordable, the servers are always very pleasant, and everything is delicious. Would highly recommend!
