There are so many good things to say about Susan Chase and the Garage Gym. I've never been an active or physical person. So as an adult, I've always been intimidated by anything having to do with physical activity or gyms, and it's easy to let that intimidation turn into yet another excuse to not exercise.But Susan is an amazing coach. She's not a drill sergeant who wants to berate you into working out. She's nurturing and encouraging while also holding you accountable for what you're doing.I've been working with her for 4 weeks, and the before/after stats are amazing. I didn't lose a lot of weight (this is my fault; I tend to eat like a lazy college student) but I lost inches from all over (even my neck! I didn't realize someone could lose a half inch from a neck!). I can do nearly double the number of pushups I could do at first, and 6 TIMES the number of situps.My work with her includes workout plans tailored to who I am and what I'm capable of (including offering scaled-down exercises to suit my fitness level), while pushing me to improve. And it's an awesome blend of core work, weight training, and endurance. My body and soul are enriched by working with Susan, and you should give her the opportunity to do the same for you!
