The Frog Pond

Stopped in after Gumbofest at the winery. Great little dive bar. Beer was cold, customers friendly and staff friendly. Food that people were ordering looked great.

We have fairly recently found this place even though we've known about it for years & we love it! Every Thursday night they have Taco Thursday & they are $1.50 each which includes their homemade mild salsa & Lava salsa. They are fantastic along with other Mexican dishes to choose from! The next runner up is their Froggy Fries! I like the crunchy crinkle fries that are topped with cheese, onion, bacon, and drizzled with thousand island dressing. Trust me the thousand island really works! If you want, you can have the froggy fries with regular fries, tater tots or waffle fries. I've had the BLTC and it was really good! My son had the burger said it was good and my husband had the chicken Philly cheesesteak and said it was also really good. Oh and a while back they sold so the building became a non-smoking restaurant now which is great! Go give this great local spot a try!

While driving to KC for the holidays, the wife picked this place along our route to stop and get a bite. I was skeptical at first but once I saw their menu and all the great things people said, I thought what the hell. This little gem in the rough has a lot of potential. We both ordered a beer and the tenderloin sandwich. Wow, perfectly cooked and definitely hit the spot. If your looking for a great K-Loin sandwich and cold brew, ya got to hit up the little bar & grill

The terriaki/soy sauce was very sweet and the chicken itself had an odd taste. I had the patty melt with no onions. It tasted okay. It had a DEFINITE onion taste that was not too good.We think the odd tastes could be from the grill not being cleaned properly. The waffle fries were hot, crisp and well seasoned.Overall For a pub - it's okay. Not the best and by far, not the worse. The servers came by frequently but not too often to be annoying.3 stars because no military discount, odd flavors that were not expected, and the server not stating her name.Military No.

Good food and good pool tables to play on! It was fast service also and not to crowded at all when we went.

Shortly off the freeway, great alternative stop for food than your regular fast food joint. Tasty and nice folks.

Disgusting. Don't go here. Dirty, poor service, new owners are condescending and the food is low grade dog chow. We deserve better.

Really good food. I had the blue cheese burger and would have it agin if I went through town again. Very friendly bartender/waiter. Quaint little local bar. The only thing was the crispy chicken in the salad was either not crispy chicken or grilled chicken extra grilled.

breakfast here is so yummy! All food I've had here is delicious. Best Bites and Beer Cheese around. Taco Thursday is so good and weekends with live music. So much fun to have close to home.

Nice bar to go too for dinner an a drink, everyone that works there is very nice people, but on the other hand if Brandee is working I don't highly recommend going there because she is just very rude an likes to make mean jokes about people an their personally problems.
