I love the Flower Farm so much. It's like stepping into a jungle of calm. Prices are not extreme and plant health looked good. There is quite a variety. I had to actually duck a bit to get from one greenhouse to the next due to the thriving large plants at the intersection. I loved the vibe. I saw many lizards and a tree frog inside while the outside temperatures were frigid. The owner Keith is a wealth of knowledge and let me pester him with a lot of questions. I've been to a lot of greenhouses and this one is really unique.

Psst...want some beautiful mums for a great price? This is your farm. I bought HUGE mums in 12-inch pots for $19.99 each and they are stunning. They are way nicer than the plants I usually get at the warehouse clubs and they are sold by the nicest farmer. You'll find rows and rows of different varieties, sizes, and colors. My daughter and I have plans to go back after Thanksgiving because they also have a greenhouse full of poinsettias. The Flower Farm has great plants, and exceptional prices, and is a lovely 45-minute jaunt from my home in KC.

They are awesome. No harmful chemicals so every plant is safe for pollinators like butterflies and bees. I also love their knowledge. If you go on a non-slammed day, they are great with plant suggestions.

Easy to find location, and a massive variety of flowers at insanely low prices. Came away with half a dozen perennials, 2 dozen annuals, and several vegetable plants for only $65. Wow! Can't wait to see how they all do this summer!

That was my first time visiting the flower farm. And the visit was beyond my expectation. In this place, there is a rule: DON'T touch anything that's on the tray for propagation or on the propagation table. That tells me how serious this nursery takes care their plant babies and provides the best quality plants to their customers. The ready ones definitely have TONS OF ROOTS or ready for repot (you can see the roots say hi outside of the pot...) And yet they provide the quality plants with reasonable price in this KC area. They also have lots of healthy tropical plants. Although most of them were not ready for sale, I still enjoyed watching those beautiful and healthy plant babies.Besides that, as a cat parent, it's fun to find different cats sleeping in different corners and be amazed that how cats can be so friendly with plants lol.So it's like a tour in this amazing jungle greenhouse, and I got some "souvenirs"back the way to home.I will definitely return during warmer spring season.

LOVE this place. Favorite nursery in the entire kc metro area. Today we were greeted by the sweetest dog Madison who I just couldn't stop petting! They currently have their big self service mum field set up for fall and a HUGE array of every type of tropical house plant you can imagine inside. The beautiful mother plants and NFS plants line the wall. Including rare beauties like a GINORMOUS pink princess philodendron, painted lady philodendron, mexicanum philo, dark lords, and even think i may have spotted a ring of fire! True plant hobbyist wonderland. You could come simply to walk through the amazing jungle of houseplants! Their amazing prices are what keeps me coming back. It is totally reasonable that they have lots of plants that aren't for sale. A lot of them are massive mother plants or showcase plants that would probably cost the same as a new car, others are babies that don't yet have roots and are trying to grow! When we came for the very first time they were super kind and took us on a tour and let us know which plants weren't for sale, which ones not to touch, and which ones were for sale! It's super easy to remember and very reasonable. They're propagating man! I find it very reassuring that they're cautious and responsible with their plants, you know you will get something healthy and established and ready to be sold!If you're looking for something specific, call and ask before hand and they'll let you know if they have it ready. Growing these babies the way they do is a process and anyone who grows plants will understand. Keep a look out for their auctions too! That's where the more rare beauties are sold. Over all, a beautiful family run greenhouse with the best prices in town and great customer service. Will forever come back!
