I loved our experience here! Super easy to book and work with! It is a super sweet couple that runs the place. It's a quirky, rustic place with a graveyard of salvage and antiques, which honestly a cool touch. The room feels like you're in the 1850's and I love a good theme, haha. We came for my 25th to have a romantic weekend away in Weston and it was lovely! It's walking distance to Main Street so you can walk to all the bars and restaurants. They take your breakfast order menu and bring it up in the morning! Definitely a fun, different experience for a bed and breakfast and will do it again!

Quick night stay, close to home for a moments pause. And what a great little treat it was. Set at the end of downtown Weston is a quirky place that has turned into a B&B. Very welcoming from beginning to end. The end being a delicious, hearty, breakfast delivered to the room. A lot of love has gone into this place and it shows.

Never been keen on checking out a Bed & Breakfast due to having to stay in the same house as someone and having limited privacy - yet with this Bed & Breakfast you are staying in an entirely different building. Hospitable hosts whose land hosts a salvage shop and even bar, next to where you are staying. There is a lot of age and story in every little item there. We decided to stay there in the middle of the work week, and they was more than willing to accommodate when we wanted our breakfast, even though it was at the crack of dawn. Now there is not a kitchen - but if you need anything from cups, ice or utensils, the hosts will not hesitate to bring it to you from their home next door. There is also no TV, but just more of reason to spend quality, non-distracted time with who you are with. Rustic look, amazing breakfast, in quaint part of town - for my first B&B - will definitely be checking out more in the future.

This was my first B&B experience, and I had an absolutely wonderful time. We were luckily able to get a 1-night reservation, for a Saturday, on somewhat short notice, which is very tough in Weston. The hosts had great communication all the way from booking our room to the day we left. The property is just a short walk from the main square of Weston, so it close enough to everything but far enough away where you still feel some privacy. They have a dedicated parking spot right in front of the room which is a huge benefit. The host gave us a run down of the property, some history of the Coal Lodge, and really made our stay feel special. They even took our breakfast order for the next day (which was a terrific home cooked meal with the fluffiest pancakes I've ever eaten). We didn't get chance to have a drink in the main bar area, but it looked like a very fun place to hang out.We felt safe staying here, really enjoyed the ambience, and had not one complaint. The Coal House Lodge is different then what you might expect with a Bed & Breakfast, but in this case, different is very, very good. (perfect place for a couple). You can tell the hosts have put a lot of time and effort into making this a must-stay place.
