The Big Fish

Simply a surprise The food was real authentic, done the right way, not greasy the greens. Oh my gosh out of this world the whole establishment very clean very inviting very kind people that were very nice to me. Big screen TVs and I got to sit there and watch an entire Chiefs game. I will surely go back. I only wish they were closer to my house.

I'm torn on how to review this....Service: not great, but not bad1 server and there was a big party that arrivedBut torn on my foodI'm from New Orleans born and raisedAnd when buying a poboy sandyRestaurant MUST FOLLOW the golden rule, the bread is just as important as the fish(or whatever type you are buying)The fish, was perfect (get rid of that sauce or put it on the side) The fish was perfect The bread ruined the sandwich I, imagine had i just ordered the lunch (fish) this would be a 5*But the bread just killed it for me, so dry, so old (3 days old I suspect) it ruined a perfect sandwich I'll maybe try this place again because the fish was perfectly fried, but I don't know

This is one of them ones, if you know what I mean! The quality here is secondary to none. The restaurant was well lit and full of people who were very happy. The food will keep you coming back for more.

I went with a friend for the first time. He loves their food so I was exited to try it! The cashier was really nice and answered all my questions (I had a lot lol) and even though they were pretty busy, the food didn't take long to come out. I ordered cookies and one of the workers said "don't forget to get your cookies before you go" very simple gesture but I appreciated it because I forgot to grab them!! I got the 5 piece fish and shrimp combo with fries. They both were seasoned well but not over seasoned which was great. The restaurant isn't huge but it's enough seats for you and a few people to dine in. I don't suggest bringing in a big party though.

This is the second time I've been to The Big Fish since it opened. I enjoyed my meal and have found it to be a great spot for good fish and sides. Please keep in mind it's fairly new and word is swiftly spreading. It's crowded so be prepared to wait in line to order. The parking lot is large, but fills quickly & there's no street parking. The fish is prepared to-order so you'll have a 15-20 minute wait. The menu has a variety to choose from & the fish is fresh & seasoned flavorfully. The sides are on point and the combos are where it's at! The ambiance is appealing and conducive to a nice fish joint. The staff works diligently to maintain that the dining area is clean which is essential. A couple of things to improve are:Double check each order to ensure its accuracy (twice my order was not complete).Order extra fish for holidays & weekends. This is the busiest time...don't run out! (whiting was gone before 6:00pm)Be personable & greet customers upon entering the restaurant. Staff is stuffy. Show that you are pleased that customers are patronizing your establishment & thank them for their business. Happy Eating Y'all!

Let me first acknowledge the waitress whom presented herself displaying professional customer service . She was absolutely proactive in verbalizing the menu choices with complete details. She was friendly, well informed while providing "customer first " service . I regret not having taken pictures of my order which included 4 piece catfish, 13 piece Caribbean jerk chicken wings, and a side of collard greens. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. The atmosphere was very nice, medium size in dining area and a small bar section with televisions for sports lovers. I highly suggest this restaurant.

Visited The Big Fish and enjoyed the dine in experience. There was a line to order and it moved very swiftly. The sista at the register remained pleasant and patient. The food came out promptly and the service was excellent! The atmosphere was inviting and they stayed in demand the entire time we sat and ate and talked and laughed. When we left the parking lot was packed! I enjoyed the catfish, shrimp and hush puppies with a lemonade. The prices were just right too. I did not get to enjoy a dessert this time because I had more than enough to fill my belly. It cost nothing for you to support by liking and following their page. When you are in the area stop by and grab a combo or too! Call in your order should you not want to wait but I'll tell you it's well worth it! Much better with food timing from when first opening. For the first time noticed on receipt a kitchen fee.

The food was flavorful and fresh, the service was pretty good and restaurant was clean and quiet.

This restaurant is a must go! The customer service was amazing! The wings and okra were great! By far these are the best wings I have had! If you have not been to this place I highly recommend.
