We ordered the chocolate cream pie for Thanksgiving. Ordered 1 week ahead with pickup the day before Thanksgiving. Excellent pie, thick dark chocolate with little crunchy chocolate bits that tasted amazing. Will definitely order again. Love supporting local downtown Parkville businesses.

Second time I've been here from out of town and blown away again. From the adorable seating which tucks neatly to hang under the window side tables to the delicious meat lovers quiche I had, this place always has amazing sweet and savory food and a delightful ambiance. You are instantly cheered up just walking in with the simple yet super tasteful and not cluttered decor to the always friendly staff, this place is a must try in Parkville. Plenty of street parking spots available.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Before The Bakers Table I didn't even like sweets because they were too sweet in all the wrong ways and I have a man with a sweet tooth so I have tried so many different desserts from so many different bakeries and restaurants from California to Missouri. The Bakers Table just does it right! First off love the owner and her family I stand there and talk with them for a few minutes every time they are there because I just love them. Second of course the food and sweets! EVERYTHING I have tried I love! I've tried the quiches, blueberry cheesecake, fudge chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies (sweet and salty so amazing), carrot cake, BISCUITS!!! The BISCUITS!! Hallelujah!!! Thank you baby Jesus for biscuits! Best I have ever had! Biscuits and gravy I would say get them but I want them all for myself and I am not ashamed. Saturdays they open at 8 call ahead and reserve some biscuits and gravy.... You are welcome. I also ordered a custom cake for my birthday it was perfection. Taste was fabulous and it was so aesthetically pleasing which is important to me because I am vain and love pretty things! AND so well priced! I love everything about The Bakers Table the people the food the sweets the ambiance it all hits the spot. Oh AND rewards program! Every 10 points you get a free item!

I'm not a baker. I just don't have the patience or the accuracy in measuring that it requires. But sometimes you want pie or need to bring something to a function. The Bakers Table is a great place to grab something sweet. The staff are super friendly and readily offer recommendations. We were torn between the chocolate cream or a seasonal triple berry pie. We opted for the chocolate based on their recommendation. It also happened to be one of their most popular pies. And we snagged a cinnamon roll for later. This pie was so pretty. Again, I don't have the patience for all the little decoration details so I was in awe. The pie was so silky and rich. Perfectly chocolatey it would have been great with a glass of milk. The crust had a nice flakey texture. I wasn't disappointed at all. The cinnamon roll was also really good. The dough was yeasty and buttery. Perfect cinnamon sugar flavors and a lush, gooey icing. It was great with a cup of coffee. They have so many options to choose from and I feel like you can't go wrong with any of them! Definitely give them a try.

My strawberry rhubarb pie slice ($6 slice / $32 pie) was nicely sized with a delicious crust and a mushy, somewhat flavorful filling. Apparently, all orders are packaged to-go.I found the service at the counter to be accommodative, while the dining area was nicely done but small, with two small dining tables and no background music.It's a good place to treat yourself in Parkville, but I found it to be pretty pricey and overall okay.

We stopped by for a quick treat this afternoon and I'm glad we did. This spot is so bright and open. There's a popcorn and ice cream shop in the same building. There were quite a few flavors to pick from on their pie selection even though it was a busy day. I will say the chocolate crème pie is a little less fluffy than anticipated and very rich but it was delicious! The chocolate chip cookie was melt in your mouth and very moist. If we are ever in the area again, we will have to come back to try the biscuits and gravy.

I was set up at a trade show at KCI Expo and not wanting snackbar food, my associate brought a quiche that she picked up at Bakers Table. We thought we'd be allowed to use the microwave at the Expo, but no such luck.I figured, hell, let's eat it cold and it was like "OMG!" There was a taste that I can't even describe, except that it was beyond divine. I could taste every ingredient in it and the end result was that it was fabulous. Even the crust was wonderful, flaky, buttery, so good that you could make a meal of it..Afterwards, she brought out a vegan lemon cake that was fantastic. I'm definitely going to try this place again, it's a definite go-to.

Christmas on the River had the kiddos stopping in for ice cream across the way, but my eye went straight to the bakery. Coconut Cream Pie!! I also picked up a surprise Carrot Cake for the Hubs. **I absolutely hate dinging places, but I am here for an honest review of my experience. The shop owner was delightful and super friendly. The prices were a tad bit high, but I've paid more for less. The servings were generous. All things that had me excited to have this as my new hometown shop. The taste...that's the downer part. My pie was flavorless. Really, I even tried to dissect it to find out what was lacking. The crust was flaky, almost cracker like, but was missing any type of flavor. The coconut custard was plain. It would've been hard to tell what type of pie I was eating, if it wouldn't have been for the few shards of coconut pieces. The meringue was flat and didn't do anything to compliment the flavors. The Carrot Cake had barely any icing and the cake itself, while moist, lacked spice or sweetness. The hubs ate a few bites. We offered it to the kids, who normally gobble all things, no one took a second bite. We threw both the pie and cake out after a few days uneaten in the fridge. Bummer.

A Mother and Daughter team has opened a charming store front bakery with a large open, clean and wonderfully aromatic kitchen. They are serving a large variety of pies by the slice or whole, along with cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies and everything you would expect. The Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce I devoured this morning was mind blowing! It was a touch pricey, but how can you put a price on perfection. Nice people, Awesome selection and great quality. Another new reason for our friends in Kansas and Jackson County to cross the river and visit Parkville.

It is the first time we have been to this bakery and we are delighted. The quiche was wonderful and the cookies were some of the best I have ever had! We will be back!
