This place is the Bomb! We go and eat everytime I visit from Nebraska. Ordered pies for my family Thanksgiving and they did not disappoint. EPIC! Pecan, Peanut Butter Cream, Coconut Cream! So good

If you are in Macon Missouri and don't already know about this place it's a must have, they have great food!!

The apple basket is under new management. Usually I have a great experience but the past two times will be the last. The menu is completely changed. They want to charge you extra for egg on a Cobb salad and forget the cheese. They also forget the lettuce, pickles, and tomato for both the tenderloin and the burger. Will not be back. There are plenty of better diners in town. Star 63 and Marshells are way better options. Don't waste your time.

Apple Basket is a great local gem! It has a diner like atmosphere and a wealth of made from scratch options. The servers are super friendly--maybe stretched a little thin--but always seem to have a smile. Definitely save room for dessert. The apple dumpling ala mode is worth the calories!

Amazing food. And the staff was very helpful. I had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with white gravy!! Incredible! Highly recommend for great home cooking!!

Wasn't very impressed, my chicken was overcooked and dry as a bone, my apples tasted old and the fries were decent to say the least. The waitress was nice, but the food I did not enjoy!

Great food and service! I loved their tenderloins and their chicken livers. The food came out really quick.

Had the sirloin special nothing special About it being$30.00 a piece ,over cooked asked for med rare .waitress kept forgetting about our table , was not impressed with the Family restaurant . Disappointed

Great local diner/cafe. I am a local regular. The cob salad is one of my favorites. Hot beef plate or tenderloin is a must try. Service is always good.

Great place with home town feel and good food. Service was on point and very reasonabley priced.
