What a fantastic experience and stay for our anniversary. I don't think we will ever do another staycation anywhere else. Fromthe communication from Ryan, to the mind blowing entrance and exceptional attention to detail in our room (not to mention the bed & linens!) we just had the most amazing 20 hours. Don't hesitate- it's amazing!! Thank you Ryan for everything

Kansas City hotel with first class service!a stunning boutique hotel located in the KC metro area. It is super close the Plaza and Westport making it a great spot for a KC staycation or for friends from out of town. From the moment we arrived it felt like I was in a movie. The outside felt like a castle. The inside felt like home. Gorgeous decor and small touches that you will love. Upon our arrival we were treated to a bottle of wine which was a perfect way to kick off date night. Very quiet rooms (can't hear your neighbors), super soft beds (like I melted into the bed), amazing shower (think waterfall calmness) and a personal touch you can't get from a chain hotel.

This place is so amazing. As soon as I walked in, I had to take a few moments to take it all in. Everything was so intentional, elegant with an old world charm with a modern flair. They do a contactless entry into where they send you a code to the entry doors and one to your room. The room took my breath away. It was so comfortable and tranquil. The mattress was top notch, memory foam (think TEMPUR-PEDIC) bed. The room I had, room 1B at the base of the staircase, was massive and had a gorgeous garden view. The fire place and seating area was wonderful. I loved it. The owners were wonderful. I had a slight issue in the room and they responded immediately and were very gracious which lets me know they'll deal with any issue, big or small. It has an Alexa device in the room and they have amazing scents that created such a warm and welcoming vibe. The robes hanging and the chocolates on the bed were a perfect touch. My husband and I seriously loved it so much. It feels like a high class bed and breakfast without the breakfast. I enjoyed the privacy and comforts of this place and almost preferred to stay in rather than go do some of the scheduled activities we had. If there were cons to staying in this place, I'd say that you likely need a car (rather than public transport but Uber/Lyft could work), and there are stairs to enter into the lobby. The linens were good but could be upgraded but nothing offensive. And the bathroom door is strange in that it has to stay propped open; it can only be pushed open from the inside since there's no handle on the outside. It's quirky but also charming. Still I'd give this place 5 stars easily.

This hotel is excellent and was just what I was looking for on my 2-day business trip. (But this would be great for a weekend spot with my husband as well.) The rooms are unique and beautiful but still comfortable. I appreciate the key code entry without the need for check in/out. The only reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 is the parking situation. The Kemper lot used for parking for the hotel is a short walk away. I arrived late at night (by myself) with a number of bags and parked on the street (which the email says you can do) so I didn't have to walk far. I woke up the next day and found my car was broken into. If you stay here, park in the lot (there's cameras) and NOT on the street.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This boutique hotel is a gem. We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom suite with an insane bathroom. The shower alone fits 4-6 people, oh my!Great location - central to everything, especially the museums. Tons of street parking. You walk up to this amazing manor (see my pics) and walk into a downstairs with two stunningly decorated sitting rooms. Our suite was on the second floor and was crazy gorgeous. Dramatic black painted walls, black on black design in the bathroom, modern fixtures with tasteful design and style. Quiet AND the hosts had locally sourced high-end chocolates as a guest gift (which were delicious).Loved the self-check in with electronic access. Streamlined the whole process and accommodated us due to our late arrival because of flight schedules.I would 100% stay in this place again if I'm back in town.

If you're looking for a little staycation or have friends in town, I would highly recommend they stay here. There is so much to offer here outside of the traditional hotel. Check-in is easy and parking is offered on the street and at a lot nearby. the hotel is decorated beautifully. rooms are spacious and decorated to match the aesthetic of the hotel. Snacks and drinks are available. Coffee and champagne are available in the lobby. There is a great outside area with a fountain and outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

I love this hotel, and it's clear the owners David and Ryan do too. There is so much attention to detail and style in every corner. On top of the stunning interior design the rooms and beds are incredibly comfortable. If you stay here you will get form and function!Bonus points for being a queer friendly space in these scary times!

The Aida is a house that has been converted into a boutique hotel. We stayed in a room that was the attic so it had weird angles but that added to the charm of the HUGE space. The whole hotel was decorated so wonderfully. It's also located by the Kansas City Art Institute so we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood at night. Seeing the Nelson-Atkinson Museum grounds at night was very interesting. Too bad we could only stay one night. I would definitely stay at the Aida again. My husband wanted to sit in the living room and read. He loved that space.

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Aida for a mini week vacation in Kansas City. It's in a great location and the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. You can tell that Ryan and David absolutely love what they do because of the detail that goes into the place. Felt safe with our unique digital code lock on our room and a beautiful comfortable room. We look forward to staying here every time we visit KC!

Excellent room and nothing better than expresso out your door. The room was large with a separate seating area. You can't ask for a better room for the price
