I love a good dive. This is not that! This place is so sketchy looking but I was still hoping the food would be worth it. Nope. My double cheeseburger only had 1 slice of cheese, a very under ripe tomato slice and 2 dry patties. The onion rings were pretty good though.

I will say this is not the best neighborhood so I am deducting a star, but if I am anywhere close and hungry I can't resist stopping in. You can call ahead and have the food ready when you get there, but not a long wait if you don't. They have the best old school greasy tacos. $5 (tax included) for 4. They have fried burritos that are my next greasy favorite. They have what is called thee buckaroo basket that has a taco, fried burrito, small hamburger, a few onion rings and a whole bunch of fries. Lots of other items, but those are my go to choices.

Service is slow and the inside is a little run down but the food is pretty decent and at a decent price. The cashier usually has a hard time hearing orders bc of the way the window to speak is set up and then they just look like they don't care or like you're the problem. they're open really late while usually everything is closed so it's nice to have the option to eat there. Also they have a variety of foods you can get on the menu. Even though I've been told twice that they're out of certain items like tacos and curly fries.

Hello Jamal was right great late night snack but the chicken was MID and the fries were unsalted not cool! Overall good for the price and they stayed late to complete are order. They gave us cold Pepsis too.

Horrible experience here not only is the establishment dirty looking the customer service here is terrible. Sub for items are 1.00 on the board but you get charged 1.50 and when you bring it to their attention they say it's just 50 cent. Zero out of ten wouldn't recommend.

Look, if you want a smile and "thank you for coming!", a cute interior, a fancy neighborhood, this is not your restaurant.But if you're hungry, its late at night, and you love a good value, there is nothing better than Texas Toms. Everything is cooked to order, so its a bit of a wait, but that means all this delicious fried food is perfectly hot. Oh yeah, and when they say "12 minutes", they mean 12 minutes exactly. THAT to me is better than a cute and courteous staff who hands you old food.Basically, if you spend $5 on anything, your average person will be stuffed. If you spend 8-9 and eat it all, you better be on your cheat day of some crazy exercise routine.You can get delicious catfish, burgers, tacos, buritos, chicken wings (get the whole wings, TRUST ME. Each one equals two "regular" wings (a flat and a drum) plus the tip which is just extra crispy goodness.) I also recommend the spicy chicken sandwiches, the pork tenderloin sandwiches, and their onion rings are great as well.Skip the fast food if you're near Texas Toms, you won't regret it.
