We went to this winery the first weekend it was open for the year (yeah, it was busy). It's a little bit of a drive from Overland Park, but definitely worth the trip. John is so incredibly nice and the wine is awesome. There's a little something for anyone and everyone. We had a guy with us that doesn't really like wine and there were even several that he wanted to take home. Remodeling looks great and can't wait to come back!

If you're doing the wine trail down 24 Highway, Terre Beau is worth a stop. Their wines are delicious, and the service is top-notch. We came at a time when a very large group had just entered, and we felt like we were the only people in the place. The service was very attentive and informative. It was cool to hear the stories of the wines and how they were created. They only have wine - no additional food or gifts or distractions, other than ... I don't know what to call it, but they are bottles of toppings (?) created by combining the wines with other ingredients. I bought one that was one of the white wines with garlic, and it was an awesome topping with ricotta cheese and crackers. They have sweet as well as savory. The winery is small, and their selection of wines is not huge, but Terre Beau is a great addition to the Kansas City wine trail.

It might be the best wine in the World, but I will never know. There are many great Missouri wines out here and I refuse to pay to sample wines. I understand you have many people that probably come in and just sample with no intentions of buying anything, but if your going to do that at least take the fee off your first bottle. Best of luck to you, but your wine will not be in my house.

Went here after visiting another winery, on the way home. Decent enough place, the wines could use some work. The owners were alright, somewhat cranky when our group of 10 piled in at first, but warmed up after a bit.
