Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Sedalia! I have been on an hunt for real Mexican food since moving here from Southern California 2 and a half years ago! Every restaurant here covered all the food with weird cheese sauce and no flavor! This place is the real deal... rice and beans to perfection and enchiladas to die for! Burrito that you can pick up and tear into with rice and beans inside! Great food and even better service! They young men who man the order desk are friendly and have tons of personality! Amazing environment guys keep up the great work!

This place moved from where it was the last time I visited. Instead of being on an outpost road far from any business district, it's now in an industrial zone near a main road. They took over a steak place that moved. Our server was nice. Helped me with my Spanish. My beef tacos seemed to be made with aged beef, but not in a good way. They were kind of greasy and had a slight off taste. Shrimp tacos were good. Wife enjoyed her chicken tacos. Said they were outstanding. Paying the bill was an odd mish-mash. Went to the register where I was asked what we had. He gave me a total, I presented my credit card. I requested a copy of the receipt. I asked if I could include a tip, and was told, that's usually done when receipts are printed. I left cash on the table. Server volunteered that there is no "taco Tuesday" anymore because they were overrun with too many customers. Mmmmm.. add some help?

My tongue street taco was piping hot and arrived with a little container of chopped onions and cilantro (which I think is hideous, but that's just my opinion, lol) and a nice fresh wedge of lime. It came with the caramelized onions as requested, on the side, but in the same wrapper as the tongue taco. The tongue was in little squares and was so incredibly tender and flavorful. I don't know that the onions were actually caramelized, but they were very well grilled and pretty perfect. But, holy moly, the torta! I got the Asada Torta, and it was not ground beef nor sliced, but little tiny pieces of chopped beef (excellent!). The sandwich was layered with mayonnaise, refried beans, lettuce and tomato, cheese, fresh avocado slices, and grilled jalapeños (or maybe pickled? They were real, and large slices, but they were not burning hot like a fresh-cut one would be. Or maybe I just got lucky, ha ha). Holy cow! I will say that I have never had a torta from a Mexican restaurant before, so this is my first, and it was fantastic - I was told it would be 10 to 15 minutes (I was sitting in my car in the parking lot when I ordered), and less than 10 minutes later a nice young man (wearing a mask, yay!) brought my order out to me, which I did not expect, but really appreciated! Each dish was in its own neatly wrapped aluminum foil, then in a brown paper bag. No Styrofoam, thank you very much! I got utensils and lots of napkins, and I needed all of them!Good stuff!

The street tacos were excellent and the chimichanga was huge, I think the chimichanga is a Brito fried. And it had rice in it . The service was ok. I wish they come back and see if you need anything. But I would come back. And try something different. They are supposed to be famous for the tamales. But we're out

Oh brother. Got to the restaurant at 7:15, there were 2 tables in there finishing up and paying. We hurriedly ordered because we found out they closed at 8 pm. If you love rice, you're in luck!!!!!I ordered a beef chimichanga. It had very little unseasoned ground beef and loads of rice inside. Not to worry, the chimichanga was served with a big spoonful of rice on the side of the plate, as well. The white cheese sauce on top was more watery than water. Anyways we get our food in a reasonable amount of time, but as we're waiting for our food, our server was sweeping next to us and stacking chairs.....it's about 7:35 now. So needless to say we felt extremely rushed. The server never came back to ask us how we were doing (at this point there were no other tables). My husband goes to pay, and our waiter, who literally took our order, also checked us out at the register. The waiter asks "what did you have"? WAIT, WHAT? We told him our order, and then he asked if we wanted a receipt. I said "no" so he doesn't give us anything to sign. My husband said "well don't I need to sign something and add a gratuity"? And the guy says "yeah, I guess". WoW. Side note: chips and salsa are NOT complimentary, which didn't bother us. I feel like free chips and salsa isn't a make or break deal if they are good enough. All I can say is, skip the chips and salsa. Just don't. .My husband liked his street tacos. They are served with tortillas, the meat, and grilled onions on the side.

Great food. Service sucks. Took 10 minutes for us to get menus. Not a lot of paying attention. I need a beer!

Can't thank my Yelp friends enough. We were passing through Sedalia and wanted Mexican. Read the reviews and drove over. It's a bIt off the beaten path, but absolutely worth it. Authentic and delicious! We'll stop again next trip. Stopped again next trip and it was closed . Drove on to get on 65 north and to our amazement saw a new restaurant with the same name. Had to check it out and sure enough they had moved. What luck! Same great food in a bigger, newer, easier to get to location.

First off...2nd visit. The tacos are very good. Street style. Several different meats to order in them. Very authentic Mexican. They also bring a caddy to your table with 4 items on it (pico, limes, red/green sauce) that are valuable members to the tacos and much enjoyed. Tamales...eh. But I'm not much of a tamale guy.Service: Sunday evening at 5:30 pm. 1 waitress (and she was inexperienced). Need I say more about the service? We'll be back but I hope there are more service staff on shift then.
