Before I get into my review, I want to point out that these wonderful people are in danger of losing their place where they park due to a neighbor who is hating on them for no truthful or apparent reason citing they are "creating an eyesore on the neighborhood. They have a petition that you can sign to help support them. I urge anyone who goes and loves their food to do so.Taqueria Ibarra is operating out of the parking lot of Hope Thru Grace Fellowship on Brighton Ave. The area is kept super clean, cleaner than I have ever seen it. They have all the street favorites. Tacos, burritos, birria, etc. You place your order and they give you one of those nifty buzzer thingies and you can sit in your car and avoid the heat. When you get buzzed, you can get your food. We had shrimp tacos and chicken tacos. both were flavorful and super fresh. the accompanying salsa paired perfectly with them. I need to go back and try all their stuff, but until then, please go see them and support them. This place is too good to lose.

If you are ever driving by this food truck please do yourself a favor and pull over and order your self some tacos. I got the steak and pork tacos and ordered up a burrito for lunch the following day. It is so crispy on the outside and full of flavor and spice on the inside. The meat was grilled perfectly on the inside. Please don't leave this place out on your drive to north kc.

Excellent food and very friendly. Everything is fresh and delicious. I've tried most items on the menu and not a single one disappoints. I highly recommend the chicken as it's my favorite meat here. The sauces are spicy but delicious! Try the tacos and the tortas!

I can't believe that I didn't know this place existed until two days ago when a Facebook post with tons of their loyal customers supporting the business came out. Someone was trying to shut the place down and the owner was asking for help to stay open. This truck is located in a church parking lot and a neighbor said that the business was driving down property values. I beg to differ! I try to support local businesses as best as I can so went here yesterday to grab lunch. Yes, my first visit, and definitely not my last. The guy working the window was incredibly friendly and walked me through the menu. My food came out very quickly. I ordered 3 of the steak tacos and a side of rice. I wasn't expecting such a huge portion of food for the price. The tacos were $2 each and the side of rice was $2.50. So $8.50 in all. I was really surprised at the serving size when I got home with the food. What a great value! The tacos were flavorful and the rice is some of the best I've ever had. I hope the business owner gets all the permits he needs to remain in business in his current location. Support this local business and stop by for some delicious Mexican food.

It's the Taco trailer!!! I am so hooked on this place! They are friendly, quick and prices are fair. But beware the Tres leche cake is frozen so let it thaw while you devour your tacos. My faves are the quesabirria tacos with consommé or the basic steak tacos with cilantro, onions and lime wedges. I generally sit in the parking lot singing in between bites and tapping my feet. These tacos make me happy just thinking about them!

I ordered online because I wasn't sure if they took Apple Pay (they do!!) and I didn't have my credit card on hand. There are more options available in person, though, so I suggest ordering when you get there unless you're very short on time. The food truck is parked in a large lot right off N Brighton so it's easy to get to and there is a ton of parking available. There's an awning to shield you from the rain and you could even drive up there. There were several other people picking up food when I was there. My food was ready when I arrived and they popped the top of my Sidral Mundet apple soda and I was good to go. Quick and easy with friendly service.I was craving a torta and a yelp search sent me here. Their torta is the size of a dinner plate. The bread is toasted, but is still really soft and a little sweet. Carne asada is tasty and the sandwich is topped with lettuce, pico de gallo, avocado slices, and a healthy dollop of mayonnaisse. I ordered the combo with two tacos and this would be a perfect option to share with someone. Half a torta and a taco would fill most people up, I think. I ordered a chorizo taco and an al pastor taco and the chorizo definitely has more flavor. I wouldn't order al pastor again. They're served with a grilled jalapeno which had plenty of spice and some refreshing cucumber slices. The red and green salsas are just okay. The red is spicier; the green maybe has a little more flavor, but I won't be coming here for the salsa. I look forward to trying their quesabirria tacos next time, and my entire office saw my food and now wants to go here, too. I'll be back for lunch. Ordering online with the added menufy fee and a very modest (rounded up) tip came to $18 for the torta + 2 taco combo w/ a drink.

So I discovered this taco truck a year or so ago. They are now located in a church parking lot off 1-35 and N Brighton, Amen. They crank out some fresh essentials! I usually get the Birria or quesabirria tacos, sides of rice and beans, and a cold Jarritos to wash it down. They typically add some grilled onions, seared serrano peppers, sliced cucumbers, and lime wedges with your meal. Now I like spicy food, but sweet baby Jesus y'all! Please take small bites of that pepper or you too will feel your soul burn like ether! Service is typically on point, I order in person so not sure about the efficiency of online ordering. They conveniently have those buzzer tickets to notify you to shimmy your way up to get that good food.

Every type of street taco is very good. We've tried the bar tacos with brisket. It was acceptable. The tamales were heaven! Just the right amount of heat and plenty of pork. The quesadillas are really, really good as well. You can't go wrong at this food truck. I am so glad it's right down the street from me!
