Tao Reflexology

This was my first time here after it was recommended by a friend. While it wasn't like the typical massage experience I have had previously, it was by far the best! To start with, there are a collection of tables in a large, dimly-lit room. You remain clothed besides your shoes, socks, accessories, etc. There were other people getting massages at the same time, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. I felt very comfortable and at ease. The lady who did my massage was INCREDIBLE. I will absolutely go back. I highly recommend giving this a try!

You really can't beat the prices here. A 60 min reflexology where they massage feet, back and neck for 60$? Yes!!!Such as most reflexology places, you get massaged fully clothed and in a large room with everyone else. My masseuse asked me what type of pressure was preferred, made sure I was comfortable.If you don't have cash for tips, they'll tack it on to your debit/credit card and you can tip that way.

I have been coming here for years, its a great way to relax and improve blood circulation in your legs and mind. I can barely walk out of there when done My legs and feet feel great after. The staff if very attentive and focus to my body's needs. It's important to communicate any areas of focus before they begin, also if the pressure is not enough of too much.

I love this place! I get tension migraines and no matter who you go to there, they tailor to what you need regarding pressure, are very professional, and just do an amazing job. I need deep tissue to resolve my pain and they for sure deliver! I would recommend this to anyone needing either relaxation (lighter Swedish style) OR if you're in severe pain, needing deep tissue and worked over. The price is also very reasonable and I can usually book same day. I do recommend calling ahead to get an appointment so you're not waiting. Also wear comfortable clothes, as you are in a dark room with other people. But I promise it is not intrusive and it won't impact your relaxation. Also this is very sanitary and they do a great job switching everything out for the next guest.

I had a great experience here! My mom & I made appointments for 10AM last Sunday (the perfect time to go) and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time. The space was clean and quiet. We got the Combo I (35 min foot + 35 min neck/shoulder/back) for $48. It was SO worth the price! We started with a foot soak, then the foot massage/reflexology, then moved onto the upper body at the end. We even got a hot stone rub on our feet as well. It was one of the most relaxing massages I've had. I will also add that I'm 5 months pregnant and they were happy to accommodate me. I got an extra pillow behind my back for the foot rub, and they raised the back of the massage bed so I was elevated. I felt very taken care of and will definitely return!

Just as wonderful as the other location on Johnson Drive! Does get busier though- so best to call ahead. They're always running some sort of deal, and they're often on Groupon. Plus they have a punch card to earn free services and if you pay with cash you get a discount. Lovelovelove Tao!!

Finally made it to Tao at the recommendation of my favorite hair stylist of 15 years - shout out to Brittany. I have no idea who rubbed me down because I was basically blindfolded or face down for the duration. And maybe Brittany should have tipped me off on the buttocks/thigh massaging, but whatever. Finally, was not prepared for the aggressive whispering of "FINISHED" directly into my ear to let me know my time of over-the-clothing rub down was over. Bring cash for a tip - you will absolutely need it. That place is super weird and I will definitely be back. 10/10 would recommend.

On impulse I stopped here to see if they could handle a walk in. A reflexology session sounded heavenly. From the parking lot, I looked at the website and saw online scheduling with instant confirmation. I used it to schedule a reflexology session and the current time was available. The person that greeted me told me I should not have scheduled it online; I should have called. She asked me to sit and that's when I noticed a sign that patrons were expected to tip in cash only. I wasn't prepared with cash so I decided to reschedule. I told the front desk that I would be leaving and they insisted repeatedly that I cancel online. However I could not find any functionality on the website to cancel the appointment. The whole experience gave me a negative vibe. Perhaps the massages are really good but I doubt I will ever find out

Tonight I went to Tao Reflexology for a foot massage. My friend gave me a gift card for my birthday. She had purchased the 30 minutes massage for $20 (before their price increase). Now it's $25 for 30 minutes.I gave the cashier my $20 gift card and a tip for the woman. He refused to honor the $20 gift card and showed me their chart with the new price had me give him the additional $5 for the increase. I will never go back there again because of this. First and last time there. Poor Customer Service and I plan to tell everyone!

The man who massage me today kept trying to PUT HIS FINGERS IN MY MOUTH. I was completely violated, it was so uncomfortable. He touched my boob multiples times!!!! I was in shock and kept moving and he would say "you okay?" So fucking creepy, needs to be fired. . I left feeling horrible. I have been a long time customer at the Johnson drive location and have never had issues. This guy needs to be fired.
