Tanner's

I visited Tanners for the first time a couple weeks ago during a chiefs game. We came in because they were having a $1 special on wings! Since having these wings, my boyfriend and I bring up these wings to our friends and family constantly, stating how good they were! I got the buffalo boneless wings and I thought they were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. My favorite part was the environment and service we received. Since it was during a cheifs game, all of the staff had on their cheifs attire and were cheering on our team with the rest of us. It made for a great time! When the game went longer than expected, they let everyone stay and finish the game instead of cleaning up and closing. The food came out wrong 2 different times but it was a quick fix and the server jumped on the mistake without hesitation. I would only dock a point for the mistakes by the kitchen.

I honestly had a very bad experience with me and my family no customer service rude management and very poorly served food was not right and a waitress that just give a person what they wanted them to have because they couldn't be honest enough to say that they were out of a certain menu item i just felt very discriminated against took 30 minutes to be served and get a drink and had to ask for service truth be told food wasn't what expected and this was my first time here very unsatisfied.

I had high hopes for this as it was a game day for Mizzou. The food was just ok because seems they changed some items. They don't have the same cheese bites anymore, they use be the small cubed ones. The new ones are more like cheese curds, they also use to have crinkle fries. They did still have the chicken lips and those were ok just little on dry side from over cooking.

Been going to Tanners for a few years now. Their servers are great and attentive and anticipate my needs before I ask. I had the Mac and cheese with the buffalo chicken, talk about delicious comfort food. I had a nice portion which gave me some for lunch and a small portion leftover for dinner. Very nice place always clean and the staff is always friendly. Some people can talk bad about a waiter and it's not fair to them without asking them how is their day going? It's a game changer for them and you, so next time you want to say something bad about someone else's service, try trading places with them or just been kind and ask them how's your day going today. This was our first visit to Tanner's, being from out of town, and the meal was absolutely horrible. Our bill came to $54 with tip, for two hamburgers, two sides and one lemonaid and one glass of water. Both hamburgers were done beyond done, if that's possible. My wife had the burnt ends hamburger that had two inedible burnt ends, my hamburger was horrible with only cheese on it, no pickles or onion. The tater tots were cold as were my wife's onion rings. My lemonade was undrinkable, probably made with fake lemonade mix that was mixed so weak that it barely tasted like lemon water. The atmosphere was noisy, granted people were there to watch football on a Saturday afternoon, but one table filled will young men weren't watching football, instead they were drunk. The best part is that the ticket included three options for gratuity starting at 18% which was pathetic. I have never been to a place that the help was terrible, food was terrible and the atmosphere was atrocious. The Tanner's is a national chain and for the life of me I can't figure why they aren't out of business seeing that many great restaurants with better food and service have closed.

We went on a rainy Saturday evening with part of our 8th grade football team - who requested to go watch a preseason Chiefs game. The restaurant was pretty empty. The manager did not like the "kids" (13 yr old boys who all ordered $25-$30 worth of food and soda) in "his" bar. He scared a nine year old boy, by raising his voice at him, and told us that he thought it was awful that we'd bring our children to a "bar"We will not go back, and the word is spreading. Each family (8 different checks at least) spent well over $100 each and we would have stayed and spent more.Again they were doing very little business outside of our party.Side note: there was a regular in there - playing pool with his young daughter - but that seemed totally normal. ‍If I could do a zero star I would!

Just got the spicy cheese balls and chicken lips with ranch and onion rings was delicious and had a nice root beer

Great food and drinks, just down the road and convenient, just wish they were open later!

This was not a great experience for us. The wait staff was friendly enough - not all of them were attentive, but most of them seemed to be trying. Hubby ordered the steak tips with fries and was very disappointed. The steak was overcooked and cold and the fries were cold as well. It's possible everything was done correctly but just sat too long before being delivered to the table. I had a side salad and it was good. The place was busy, but not packed and they didn't seem to be short staffed, so thinking this is something they need to figure out quickly. I doubt we will return, unless it's just for a drink.

The food was disgusting. Not edible. The service was amazing. The ice was great. You can check out with a QR code.
