We come here all of the time since moving just down the street. We love that they are open late hours and they always have a place to sit. That's not to say this place isn't crowded, because it can definitely fill up. I am not familiar with their schedule yet, but it can be pretty loud during game nights, trivia, and one time we stopped by there was karaoke. Regardless, the wait staff is friendly and attentive. It is definitely is good if you are in the mood for some classic items. We have probably tried just about everything on the menu by now with how often we come here. My usual is the chicken tenders. However, their entrees are also really good. Don't be afraid to try some of their more unique options like the Mediterranean bowl and the Mahi Mahi tacos. They are very good!

We went here for lunch today. I just am not sure I would return anytime soon. There were only 2-3 other tables occupied at noon. The floor was sticky and our table felt greasy.The service was slow, despite not being busy. The food was mediocre at best. I had a turkey melt which left much to be desired. It just wasn't good...basic bread that appeared like it came out of a toaster as opposed to a flattop. It was slightly burnt with a piece of turkey and bland gooey cheese. The fries were hot and crispy! I did like those.

When my brother in law suggested we take our massive family of 14 people, including 8 children, to Tanner's near my old highschool for dinner following my nephew's football game, I admittedly raised a few eyebrows. When I looked it up on Yelp to see if I was mistaken, I was negotiating a change of plans. The place has TWO stars and aside from it being a local chain bar in a suburban strip mall, the rating enough was all I needed to recommend really anything else. BUT, my husband's family cares a great deal about K-State football, it's a sports bar, it was close, and they could accommodate a big group. In short, I needed to get off my foodie high horse and suck it up for an evening. Honestly, I'm glad I did because it really surpassed my expectations. First of all, I was a bit surly when we arrived, having lost my dinner battle. But I sat down, looked at the beer list and was pleasantly surprised that they had more local offerings on tap than expected. I ordered a Tank 7 and started looking over the menu. Tanner's offers pretty standard sports bar fare, with an assortment of burgers, nachos, tacos, and chicken fingers to choose from. I decided on the fish tacos - I know, a bold move for a low rated sports bar in Kansas. When they came out though, they were legitimately good! I really enjoyed my meal and I loved even more that it was just the tacos, they were large, but not over the top, and it didn't come with a bunch of extra sides that I wasn't going to eat anyways. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food and they even had a kids menu for my daughter which she really enjoyed. An added bonus was that I was so blown away by the service and how family friendly the folks working there were. Sometimes you go to a sports bar with a toddler and servers can be a bit rude, not wanting kids around at all, but this server was wonderful. Attentive, friendly, and helpful. Overall, I can sum this up by saying that the 2 star rating on Yelp is unfounded from my personal experience. Is the food being prepared by a Michelin rated chef? No, but for the genre of restaurant it's if anything slightly above average. While I won't seek out Tanner's for my next night out, if someone suggests it for a group outing I'll happily agree to it!

Plenty of parking. Nice size bar and lots of seating. TV screen everywhere for that televised sporting game. I arrived here on a Friday night with a group of friends for a fun evening of Karaoke. Service was great. Waitress was attentive. They had great cocktails.

Best Jumbo Wings in town, Amanda recommend the jumbo wings , cooked and sauce too, I have been friends with Amanda from OC days when she was the bartender and kept in touch with her on Facebook, haven't seen her in many years and had to stop in to say hi because next weekend is her last weekend to bartender and than going away party for her, she is leaving the state to add another chapter to her amazing chapter,tonight the place is hopping with the regular here and a must to come in to eat and party here, I have been to other Tanner's and enjoy the food, positive place to go, easy to get to this location,

Pick up my to go order. Worst burger and fries. I ordered the burger with lettuce pickle and onion and fries. All I got was a plain burger and fries. Bread is hard no condiments which I even went back and asked if there was ketchup and mustard and was told it was in the bag along with silverware. Nothing. Worse burger ever

Ordered the pork tenderloin and while it came out of the kitchen fast enough, it was overcooked, burnt, and flavorless. Served with no garnish. French fries were pre-seasoned, not crispy, and marginal at best. The coup d gras was the waitress who was either stoned or suffering from a lobotomy earlier in the day.
