Holy moly! Super nice to have this in the area. I've had a lot of different taco spots around town and beyond and this place hits!I recommend the steak quesadilla + chicken/pork taco. All the salsa were great. The staff is great and fun.

Best tacos I've had in the burbs of KC (potentially anywhere). Had the carne asada tacos and quesadilla. Really high quality ingredients starting with the Yoli tortillas, adding high quality steak, and finishing off with a great array of fresh salsas and toppings. Authentic and amazing, all in a great casual environment. Even met the friendly owner who's excited to share his love for authentic Sonoran food.

Sonoran-style tacos on State Line and Ward Parkway at Tako Tako is where its at. What makes it Sonoran? The tortillas de harina AKA flour tortillas. That is the base of what starts a great taco. Ordering is simple. There are touchscreens and you choose a taco, burrito, quesadillas or skinny tacos (lettuce instead of tortilla). Each section includes the filling which are adobada (pork), Beef, chicken or mushrooms. The awesome owner, Ricky, explained you just get the tacos as is and you add whatever you want like a taco stand. Onions, cilantro, lime, cucumber, radishes, and a selection of four salsas. Ask for the You Know, You Know which is their spiciest salsa. The adobada was so mouthwatering, I had to order more. The mushroom was spectacular especially with the YKYK salsa. It is spacious inside and plenty of seating. And honestly, eat it there because they make it FRESH. 100% must try and so glad there's another delish taco joint in the neighborhood. Happy eating and remember: Don't deny, satisfy!

I came here for a quick bite and had heard all the rave on Tako Tako's Sonoran style tacos. I decided to go with the el pastor and carne asada on a flour tortilla and was quite impressed with the meat flavor! It was juicy and the sauce at the sauce bar were done just right! I definitely enjoyed sitting down and the option to grab more onions and sauce when needed.

What a great new addition to our neighborhood! We got to meet the owner Ricky who is super personable and clearly enthusiastic about what he does. The food is excellent. I had the combo of two mushroom tacos and the mushroom quesadilla. Everything tasted so fresh, and the mushrooms were so flavorful. Love the Mexican music they play. Everything about this place felt cheerful and we felt happy to support it, can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

Decided to check out this place for lunch one day and it's definitely a good spot! The flour tortillas were delicious and the adobada was my favorite. The salsa bar is a fun addition cause you can dress up your tacos however you want! It's a bit on the pricier side cause the quesadillas aren't that much bigger than the taco. If your me just looking for a quick yummy spot definitely check it out!

I ordered the pollo & asada street tacos w/ flour tortillas & was pleasantly surprised when the worker gave me another one free of charge! The tortillas & sauces were delicious (but a spicier option would be nice), and both the meats were seasoned well. Overall, great option for street tacos with friendly service!

I really wanted to like this place because it is so close by, but I was a little disappointed. I called to put in a to-go order. The person on the phone said to order online. I told him that the online menu didn't have rice as an option to order. He said that was a mistake and he would throw in some rice for free, which was nice. I placed the online order and my husband went to pick it up. The burrito was just a flour tortilla with meat in it. It came with different salsas, cilantro, and onions on the side. However, the rice and beans normally cost extra to add to the burrito. The rice itself was so hard I couldn't chew it. It seemed like it had scraped from the bottom of a pot that had been sitting out for a while. Because the rice was inedible, I ended up just eating the burrito with just meat, salsa, raw onions and cilantro...which basically felt like I was like eating a taco. Aside from the rice, everything tasted good, I just don't think I'll return after this experience. Maybe because it's a newer restaurant, they're still trying to work out some things.
