Tacos El Sombrero

When anyone asks me my fav Mexican in KC, its hands down Tacos El Sombrero. I could seriously eat here everyday. It's that good.I have two questions:1. When are they opening a permanent restaurant here in Blue Springs? 2. Can I pay the owners for Mexican cooking lessons????

This food truck parks in the Orschlen parking lot right on 7hwy in Blue Springs. Their tacos are amazing! And their birria quesatacos and consume are life changing. Blue Springs is in love with this place. There is almost always a line. My favorite food truck in the KC area right here! The owners are so nice and friendly and their food is always spot on!

Best Birria tacos in KC! I've tried several different places but always come back here! The tacos have the perfect ratio of meet and cheese and the consume has great flavor!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Coming from Los Angeles and spending lots if time in Baja, Mexico, I am well acquainted with Street tacos and taco trucks. Since moving to Missouri, El Sombrero Taco truck is the only place I have been able to find authentic street tacos. Tacos filled with so much flavor. I like the carnitas tacos the best. The pork burritos also very good. Thank you El Sombrero for the amazing taste explosions in my mouth. Also, your smile and hospitality don't go unnoticed.

I am very critical of Mexican food. I grew up in Southern California where mexican food is super accessible. I always judge the authenticity of Mexican restaurants and Mexican cuisine. This place is legit their queso birria tacos were delicious. I am definitely going to make this a regular spot to come eat.

Quick service and excellent birria quesotacos so amazing! Cosome has lots of flavor. Did was also very fresh!

This is the best restaurant in Blue Springs. Take what you want from that. As someone who grew up on the west coast, and spent several years eating off roach coaches up and down California and Oregon, the tacos out of this food truck are legit. I usually get carve asada but the carnitas is good too. My teenager likes the chicken, which is well seasoned without being overpowering. Also their red taco sauce (not a salsa, and definitely dried pepper based, not tomato based) is shockingly good. It's red, but not spicy with a subtle but very delicious flavor. I'd buy a bottle of it if they'd let me.

Ordered a burrito, no meat, hot sauce. Good to me as a "no meat" choice. (I do eat meat, but usually get Mexican and Italian "vegan" dishes).

Love Love love their carnitas street tacos! So thankful they are always in the Orschelns parking lot! Best food in blue springs in my opinion.
