Tacos El Charro

Spartan interior. Strip mall location. This Mexican restaurant offers counter ordering and a good selection of items to chose from. The menu board says nothing about chicken tacos but they are available. Mine were very good with added salsa that was provided, and some sauce. My only complaint is the upcharge for using my credit card. I didn't notice any signs warning me about this outrageous fee added to your order. This is a deal breaker for me, and nothing more than a money grab on the part of restaurant owners. So.. Taco El Charro...you make the small list of places I will not patronize again.

Everything tastes amazing and the customer service is kind and warm and very helpful. I would recommend this place. I go here almost every day to either grab some tacos or a burrito

THE BEST CARNE ASADA BURRITO WE'VE EATEN IN MISSOURI!! The guacamole is straight legit, pure fresh avocado's.I asked for my burrito without rice and beans and to add pico de gallo inside instead of on the side and they did so perfectly!My wife was happy with her enchiladas, the rice and beans were well made and tasted from scratch.Kind of quiet in there and the servers were polite but not friendly. I guess it doesn't matter when the burritos are so good right?

One of the better places for Mexican street food in the area! Their food is tasty, simple, and fresh. Their burritos could use some work but otherwise good. I love that their menu is straightforward and authentic. My go to recommendation when people ask for tacos.

My co-worker recommended this place for the street style tacos. He was not wrong. I ordered 2 tongue tacos and a beef burrito. The tacos were perfectly cooked, smooth and not gritty. A squeeze of the provided lime and I was hooked.I took the burrito to-go. When I got home it was still plenty warm and still not soggy (only a 15 minute drive)This thing is a beast. Slow cooked beef with spanish rice and a hint of cheese. Guacamole pico, sour cream, salsa verde and a red chili sauce come on the side. Well balanced, and the heat of the salsa verde was perfect.I will definitely be back.

Spacious seating available and the food is always delicious! Table service could have been more frequent, but our meal was perfect and we had plenty of sauce and sides available

Be aware if you're in a hurry. There's a good chance it will take 30 minutes for your food. I'm conflicted as to how many stars are appropriate. I've had food here that was amazing, but I've also had some meat that was really tough and flavorless. The guacamole is real avocado, and the pico and salsa are great. I think it might depend on who is working. Not to be critical, but on my last visit, I spent half of my lunch hour waiting for my food, and the girl running the register went to the food area and without washing her hands, took chips from the chip bag and transferred them to my to-go container with bare hands. Like I said, I've had some great food here, don't get me wrong.

Very good tacos! I like the two salsas that they provide to go with them. I ordered asada and pastor tacos. The pastor has a complex seasoning, it's very good and not similar to other pastors that I have tasted. The tacos have very soft and fresh corn tortillas.I also ordered refried beans and chips and salsa. There were a few communication issues with the service but that's ok, o got everything I wanted and enjoyed the food very much!

I don't know how it got better, but the steak tacos......omg I think I may be addicted.Super fast service with a smile and I am, yet again, a happy customer!Hoping for a la carte sides and an online or paper take out menu soon. It's been so long since I've had real street vendor tacos......YUMMY!!! I'm outta control.......:)I wonder if they'll ever offer puffy tacos...... a girl can dream....

I had a steak burrito and a steak taco. My kids had barbacoa and of course I had to get a bite. The burrito and tacos were fantastic! The steak was tender and the tortillas tasted fresh. The barbacoa was juicy and flavorful. They game me guacamole and pico with the burrito. The guacamole was fresh as well. They also gave me a green salsa which I thought was guacamole at first but it seemed to be a sort of verde salsa. That is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. I highly recommend this place. The food was fantastic and the service was just as good. You can't go wrong!!
