Sweet Kiss Brigadeiro

Highly recommended getting anything from this spot. This is located on the Plaza. They have so many good sweet treats to choose from. I recently tried the cookies and they were so good.I highly recommend the s'mores cookie. It is one of the best cookies I've ever had. Coffee and drinks are available. Service is great and proudct is unique. Highly recommend.

Traditional Brazilian truffles @sweetkissbrigadeiro I love chocolate so they were everything I needed them to be. I got the dark chocolate, espresso, cookies & cream, and lemon with cocoa nibs. Would eat all of them again and again. They are softer and smoother then your traditional truffles. I am also going to use the word lighter, and yes I'm talking about straight chocolate but they eat lighter and less filling than other truffles. Please don't skip the lemon with cocoa nibs! So good. They have a store front and a counter at The Made in KC store all on the Plaza.

I love a good cookie and saw these on IG and had to have. They had 3 options available when I went. The 2 pictured are chocolate chip and caramilk walnut. Not pictured was the fall harvest but it was so good and I'm not even a big pumpkin fan. These cookies are huge and so soft and gooey. I'll definitely be back for the s'mores and the Reece's peanut butter cookies. 10/10 would recommend!I also tried their chocolates and the crème brûlée was amazing! The chocolates would make a great hostess gift for the holidays.

A brigadeiro is a traditional Brazilian dessert and the National truffle for Brazil.I decided on this occasion to try Sweet Kiss Brigadeiro's, - Cheese Guava- Dark Pistachio- Espresso- Nutella- Creme Brullé- Raspberry Limeade- Neapolitan- CoconutIn my opinion it is a little bit pricey for the everyday treat. However, it is definitely worth it as a special treat for yourself or someone special.There was only one that I would skip getting the next time, because I was expecting my flavor for my taste and that was the dark chocolate pistachio.If you want one of their levain cookies then you better come early otherwise they get picked fast. Their staff is extremely welcoming, helpful, and patient while I aimless tried to originally get only 4 but had to get an additional 4 to try since I wanted to share with my spouse.Here's my ranking vs the "better" half's choice.1. We were at the Plaza Art Fair and enjoyed stopping in. This sweet shop has a few tables where you can sit and enjoy a coffee and a sweet treat. We tried a couple of the brownies one was a s'more brownie, and the other was one that had dolce de Leche incorporated into the batter. Both were very good and the portion size was large for the price. We also sampled a few of their brigadeiro--a Brazilian bite sized treat similar to a truffle. The variety of flavors was extensive and some were intriguing. I had a coffee flavored one as well as a pistachio. Staff is friendly and helpful. After we ate, we were waiting for one of us to pull the car up due to the torrential rain and they were very welcoming and told us to stay as long as we needed.

We accidentally found this place one day when we were walking back from a rally at the plaza fountain to our car. Walked past this and thought we should try it since we were there!So it's a Brazilian dessert place, coincidentally, right across from the Brazilian steakhouse (fogo di chao- another one of our all time faves!)It's really cute on the inside, have coffee too (this we didn't get), and the person in there was very sweet, welcoming and helpful.We got an assortment of items, then went to a friend's house and got to try them all- passion fruit tart, lime tart, brownie, macaroon, truffles- everyone liked everything!I didn't get to do the passion fruit mousse tho- was too full by then; but everyone liked everything!I am always excited to have new and more dessert place options, so very excited to have this new option!

I enjoyed their cheese bread (4 pieces for $3.95) and their lime tart ($7.55 and which tasted like key lime pie). I actually wish the cheese bread were smaller or cheesier, but the chewy texture was perfect. Although the brigadeiros were a little too sweet for me, I love the different flavors they offer.Parking was easy right out front. Fresh cheese bread took about 10-15 minutes when I went, so they're worth it if you aren't in a rush.

This store is beautiful and unique! I go to the plaza about once a month and have not seen this business before today. They have Brazilian truffles and are creamier than most other truffles I have had. The price is perfect for the amount and quality of these delicious treats! We tried the milk chocolate, peanut, and lemon flavors, and they were all incredible! They do have other options as well for dessert, so I know we will be back again!

As a student, I'm on a quest to visit every cafe/coffee shop in Kansas City. In terms of studying, I love this location and the desserts, Pão de queijo (cheese balls) and drip coffee are affordable and SO tasty!! The woman working at the desk was patient and kind in explaining options and the inside was rather quiet when we visited. The only downside is the plaza doesn't have many public bathrooms and none close to this coffee shop. This left me having to frantically pee and leaving in a rush--so make sure you plan accordingly!

What a wonderful, local shop to have at the plaza. I stopped in during a Yelp Elite event in December, and had a lovely experience.The owner was helped me select an assortment of brigadeiros to go into some gift packages. She had the foresight to ask me if we should exclude brigadeiros that included nuts - and I agreed to leave them out, since I didn't know the allergies of the people I was gifting them to. The recipients of the Sweet Kiss gift boxes loved them.I received a sample dark chocolate brigadeiro and it was delicious.Definitely consider dropping in to Sweet Kiss Brigadeiro if you're in need of a quick, thoughtful gift for someone. It is perfect for a co-worker, teacher, etc.
