Nice spot in Prairie Village with lots of outdoor seating. You can order inside or there's a to-go window where you can order! They have quite a selection of flavors AND a good amount of dairy free options that are actually good. As someone that shouldn't be consuming real ice cream, I approve. I got vegan coffee waffle toffee, and lemon poppyseed (with the help of some lactaid).Small detail, but I appreciated they use metal tasting spoons for sampling! They do full scoops and half scoops!

Ordered a sundae with three flavors and two toppings for $9. The consistency of the ice cream was not very milky, more icey and it was very soft/melting. I did enjoy the fun flavors and soft serve options!

I stumbled upon Summer Salt ice cream while working out at Power Life in Prairie Village, and let me tell you, it was love at first sight - or should I say, love at first scoop! As soon as I caught sight of it from the gym window, I knew I'd be indulging in some sweet treats as soon as my workout was over. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait!I opted for the lavender local honey ice cream, and oh my goodness, it was pure bliss in a cup. The flavor took me back to a similar ice cream I had years ago in Monterey, California, and I was instantly transported to those sunny days by the ocean.Eating it in my car after my workout felt positively sinful, but hey, sometimes you just have to treat yourself, right? And let me tell you, it was worth every single calorie.Overall, Summer Salt ice cream is a hidden gem that I'm so glad I discovered. With its heavenly flavors and nostalgic vibes, it's definitely become a favorite indulgence after my gym sessions. Can't wait to go back for more!

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had. The atmosphere was so cozy and I am amazed with how genuine and friendly the staff was. There are so many unique flavors, but still offer the classics, and they do them both very well. All were incredibly creamy and delicious. I ordered the Hokey Pokey and Cookies and Cream, but was able to taste many of the other flavors. Next time your looking for exceptional ice cream, this is a great place to try!

Only been here once but I thought it was really good! Bonus: they have swirl soft-serve that seems to be a thing of a bygone era and it's just as good as I remember back in the day. I know people in this area (lived near here for a handful of years of my life) had an attachment to Melly's, and so in that way it has big shoes to fill. I think it's better, honestly, and the plentiful outdoor, shaded seating puts it over the top. Had to try a few samples, naturally, and they were all really good and flavorful. Ultimately though, the siren song of the swirl soft-serve was calling and I'm glad I answered. It was perfection in a cone. My girls love it and while we don't live nearby any more, I'd come here again sometime down the road. I saw they recently opened one in Ranchmart too.

Taste great! With a nice variety of flavors. The young ladies behind the counter was very helpful and even served us their top favorite choices. Love the area too.

Came here for a quick treat. Wish I lived near by or I would go back and try other flavors. Cookie dough was really good and my sister loved the Coffee flavor. The chocolate peanut butter looked good too but I love cookie dough so I picked that one. It is a cute place with a few places to sit inside but they have a lot of outdoor seating. There is a fridge where you can buy pints as well.

Can everyone stop going here please? I'm afraid they'll run out of hoo late fudge ice cream and waffle cones before I get there. HOWEVER, if you insist on going (which you definitely should on any other night than when I'm going), you need to get the Chocolate Fudge Chunk in a waffle cone. It's the best waffle cone of my entire life. But, much like all the best things in life, it can't be held too tightly or it will crumble. Hold loosely to your cone... or buy 9 of them because that is seriously the best waffle cone, ice cream, dessert of all time. But you might crush it in your excitement.
