I hate to snub this sandwich, but if I didn't, it wouldn't be Snubway, would it.In the cool neighborhood of Kansas City there is unfortunately a Subway to go with the nearby McDonalds. You can find so much amazing food in the Kansas City area that why you would ever eat one of these sandwiches is complete mystery and shock to me. But my friends in KC stopped here after a fun day exploring the hipster area. I had a few bites. I refused to order my own sandwich. I'm not a fan.

I'm over eating at subway in general. There are too many horrible locations compared to the good ones. Don't waste your time. All subways have went down hill over the past couple years. I ordered a salad. They don't cut up the tomatoes or the bacon... so I have whole strips of bacon and tomatoes in my salad with no knife. Subway blows, go else where. Also no more chopped salads or turkey?

I'd give this location zero stars. The manager (I think) was surly and downright rude. He barely spoke but absolutely radiated "bad attitude" and "WTF do you want." When I asked him to start by putting vinegar on all the bread, he ignored me, then was pissed when he had to move the cold cuts he had put on the bread to put the vinegar on. Then he just stopped halfway through and pushed my unfinished sandwich down the counter (to no one) and went to the next person. Puzzled, I asked why, and he just said "someone else will do it." After a while a woman stepped up to the counter to finish it. I asked for a little mustard, and she slathered a LOT on the first half in a thick zig-zag pattern. Surprised, I quickly said "whoa" and asked her nicely for just a "stripe" on the other half, at which point Mr. Nice Guy interjected himself and (not nicely) reprimanded me with "If you want something different from our standard amount you have to tell us UPFRONT! You'd better tell us next time!" To which I said "There will be NO next time. Your service has been awful. It's been a while since I've been in a Subway, and I didn't know there were new 'rules' for customers, and in the past, the sandwich makers listened to what the customer asked for, and didn't throw in a big slice of attitude."

Tell me why i just spend 23 minutes there. They made every single sandwich so slow. They are not friendly what so ever. Couldn't even get my normal meal because they were out of 2 of there toppings. everyone in there was annoyed. They were zombies. not a single smile, hello, welcome. nothing. then they made everything in slow motion. very mad spent half my lunch break there. Never have i written a bad review anywhere. but this was very frustrating.

Beware of ordering for pickup at Subway. I just ordered 2 foot-longs for pickup and when I arrived, the employee said someone already picked it up. Theres nothing they could do to help, because once its on the shelf its "not their problem". This is not the first time I have had an issue at this location. So if you want free food that someone else paid for, just wait for a bag to get placed on the carry-out shelf and go grab it because they won't do anything to verify who the order actually belongs to.

The two women working inside were rude. They don't know how to talk to customers. I walked in on them making sandwiches for two men, and when the men were asking for topping, the response they received wasn't what you'd expect from someone working customer service. I myself asked for more tomatoes, and was rudely denied. Only stopped by because it was closer to where I was coming from. Definitely going to another location next time.
