Ambiance is stunning! It's a beautiful restaurant with intimate lighting & lots of different seating options. The service was fantastic. The bartender was very knowledgeable on all the cocktails & gave appropriate recommendations. When we were sat in the dining room, our server checked on us often and was very informative, patient, & professional. We went during restaurant week so we ordered off that menu. It was $55 for the soup, filet + potatoes, & dessert - what a deal! We added on some extra sides as well. The mushrooms were the best I've ever had. The Brussels sprouts were also delicious.

I frequent the plaza a lot. My old stomping grounds because I went to UMKC, but I never knew that Stock Hill Grill was here in this location. This is not an easy place to access because of how it's positioned, but when you walk in it's very impressive I honestly never knew it existed on this little corner. It's very classy, and has a chic and sexy atmosphere.I was celebrating my birthday I started with the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp were nice and firm, I would probably classify they as prawns. They were poached in lime bouillon, mezcal spiked cocktail sauce and guacamole, I could've done without the guacamole but I was HUNGRY!For our table we ordered the Filet Diane, which was an 8 oz fillet medallions with seasoned butter and flambed in cognac, peppercorn, garlic with cast iron potatoes. It sounds good on paper but looked very British when it came out. I ordered the Pan Roasted Halibut it was served on a bed of Chinese Cabbage and that's it. I had to order the mashed potatoes to go with it and I was still hungry but it was great flavors. My other friend ordered he pan seared salmon and you really cannot go wrong with that.I had a great experience here and nice to know of another place in town other than the Capitol grille that has fine dining in Kansas City. What's also great is that they have live jazz. I came on a Friday night so it might be specific for that night only, but I loved it.

Fun ambiance on a Saturday night with the live music from 8-1 and yummy drinks. A lot were "unable to be made" due to I'm assuming lack of inventory? Prices are also incorrect on their cocktail menu which led to a higher than intended bill.

Just went to the lounge for the espresso martini flight. Wow. They were all great and different. The restaurant was beautiful, bright and lively. We had great service in the Lounge. We certainly will be coming back.

This was by far one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at....and im a huge foodieI wish I remembered the servers name from last night because she was amazing!!she was very knowledgeable with the menu and the service was greatThe portion sizes for appetizers were huge and can definitely be split between 2-3 peopleThe lamb chops were to die for and that deconstructed cheesecake was delicious If ever visiting Kansas City again this is the place im going to. Highly recommend

Food Service Ambiance Now the details, we went here for our anniversary celebration and it was outstanding.We even got a history lesson about the location and name of this fine dining establishment.There's a live band playing on the bar side of the entrance, the welcome was incredible and the nicest lady showed us to our seats.There's absolutely amazing Valet Staff.

Stock Hill is one of our KC favorites when it comes to fine dining. We were excited to try some different menu items than our last visit, and everything was delicious, but believe it or not their carrots appetizer is our favorite. The carrots are amazingly cooked and seasoned and the sauce pairs with it perfectly. You'll love the mac & cheese w/ pork belly too and the elote corn is on point. For my entree, I had the ricotta gnocchi. Outstanding flavor and I was fascinated by the sear on the gnocchi itself, something I hadn't experienced before. We've had some excellent chicken and steak dishes here before as well. Also must mention that the atmosphere is lovely and the service is always friendly and prompt. Much appreciated!

Had an awesome experience at Stock Hill over the weekend. We were looking to have dinner at a steakhouse with not so casual vibes and we found this one on Opentable. We had a reservation for 5:15 but ended up being 30 minutes late, do to the traffic and they still sat us without any issue. Our server was great! She gave a very indepth explaination of everything on the menu to us, as well making some recommendations. To drink I ordered the tiramisu esspresso martini which I loved! The chocolate and orange flavor paired perfectly together. I ordered the half dozen oysters which again I loved, they were so fresh. The soup of the day was loaded potato so we had to get that as well. The soup was delicious and suprisingly not heavy at all. The wedge salad was also solid, you could tell the blue cheese chunks were just good quality. My least favorite of the meal was the steak Diane, it wasn't bad just not as good as the rest of the meal.Overall had a great time at Stock Hill!

Exceptional in every aspect... the modern decor, and the intimate lighting were warm and inviting. Their service was prompt, accommodating, considerate and of the highest stature. I indulged in the scallop entree which was delicate, layered with flavor, and plated artistically. Nothing bad can be had from this establishment and they clearly shined beautifully through and through.
