When the Google maps lady tells you, "Welcome to Kansas" and you hadn't planned on going to Kansas... To be honest, I'm not familiar with the area, but this was even closer to my hotel than downtown was. Nice residential neighborhood, beautiful altar and stained glass, plenty of parking, and a short homily. Was unfamiliar with many of the songs, but the cantor had a good strong voice

The pictures by Paul and Aimee are beautiful, but the Church is even more beautiful in person; it's impossible to capture its beauty.This is easily the most beautiful Church, inside and out, that I've attended in the Kansas City area, and as it's the Archdiocese Cathedral, it should be. It has a very traditional, 'old-school' feel, and made me feel right at home, remembering my grandmother's parish from when I was a child.The Mass was of course, Catholic, and followed all the rites and rubrics set out by the Church. The music was astounding, amazing and inspiring. It really called me to a feeling of worship to God.I felt very at home, and can't wait to go back. The Holy Spirit was hard at work!
