Splash Cove - Jim Allen Aquatic Center

The place was nice. It is definitely for those that have younger children. The main two areas are 1-2feet and they have one side that goes to 4 feet with a water slide. The water park had lots of water slides for toddlers and little kids. It had a wave pool for little kids overall the pool itself was fun and made for little kids.The bathroom was decent, there was no soap, there was an empty hand sanitizer bottle in there. For a person like myself who is big on cleanliness the bathroom would be 4/10 as I can only think about how many people got back in the pool after not being able to wash their hands after using the bathroom.Also, seating was limited. There were lots of people just using chairs to store their items while in the water. So for people who had babies that needed to sit and feed them etc that was limited. Having lockers for families that just need to put their items away would help with seating. Some people say in the little grad area with towelsOverall very fun place !

Came here from out of town. Very child friendly. Nice staff and attentive lifeguards. Reasonable prices for admissions. The mini wave pool was a plus as our son loved that. A good place to spend the day. The only downfall was that the water was freezing cold!!

Really good fun. My daughter (4 yo) loved everything about being here. My only complaint is that there are only two family dressing rooms. I'll definitely come back, it's about as good as it gets for a very reasonable price.

This is a great family friendly place, my son loves it so much, he gets so excited to come to Splash Cove and experience the multifaceted water slide and the beach simulated pool, the staff are so friendly, shout out to Kale at the reception he was so kind to me and my son, helped him pick a lifejacket and was very kind and patient with him. Overall this is an amazing fun, clean and friendly place for the whole family to stay cool and enjoy all summer long and knowing that your children are going to be safe due to all the lifeguards keeping watch and rotating.

Very rude staff. Do not waste your money at this place. Over priced for what little they have to offer.

I rented out Splash Cove for a 300 person party over three months in advance. They cancelled an hour before the party was supposed to start. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Terrible. Run by teenagers who don't let you do a darn thing. I got yelled at for having my floaty on the side of the pool, for sitting my son on the edge of the pool while I held him and for having my phone in the pool to take pictures of my son. Waste of money.

This place is perfect for the little ones as they can enjoy every ride or attraction they want(execpt the big slide in which your child has to be 48 inches or higher). The staff and lifeguards are well trained and very attentive, there are multiple guards at every station which is a plus. They are not rude at all the water was at a perfect temp and clean. The only problem i have is the fact that if its your childs first time you cant go down the slide with them (they should change that rule).All in all the guards and staff made the place real enjoyable before we even began to get in the water plenty of seating and places for you to put up your belongings and a clean and friendly atmosphere.

As a new Shawnee resident, I went here when my sister, brother-in-law, and 2 nieces (3&6yrs old) were in town summer 2016. This is definitely geared toward little ones under 5 (except the slide); while the 6-yr old did enjoy the big slide, she also got bored after a bit. We liked the other, Thomas whatever, Shawnee aquatic center over by the library, better. I am TOTALLY impressed with the lifeguards, they get 5 stars for how well they were managed. They seemed focused and attentive, so much better than the ones my neighborhood pool used.

Perfect for toddlers and younger kids. My one year old had a blast. We didn't stay for more than a little over and hour so the $8 per person (including small children) was a little steep, especially during toddler time.
