Kristen was awesome. Friendly and interestingly chatty. She made me feel really comfortable to talk with as I was getting wrapped and was very knowledgeable. I hadn't noticed that their was a coffee and tea machine plus glasses for water til the end but that was a bonus for my husband waiting in the lobby. A cpl of downs was I didn't lose as much as I would've like especially none on my calves. And I asked what card I had place my RSVP on and they couldn't see it. I kinda had to guess and hopefully it was the right one and I won't get double charged using 2 different cards. Other than that, I will definitely come back again next time I'm in the area. I've been going here since before covid and love this place! It smells so good and is relaxing. I go here to get waxed every month but the environment is so comfortable and staff is so friendly and welcoming that the waxing isn't even painful. I personally recommend Shavon. She is the only one I will go to. She has a gift!

I really wish I could say some nice things about Spa Catalina. Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. Most importantly, the end result of having the laser hair removal - not good. I went to my appointments within the 4-6 week window for best results. I didn't tan, or do anything that would alter the effects of the treatments. Yet, my hair continued to grow back and back and back. Finally, at my last appointment, I had a different tech and she observed that I should have had the laser that's for dark haired clients! Did no one observe before that my hair is dark brown? She used that one on me, and it was more intense, but who cares? I finally saw some real results. The only problem was... I had now wasted a year's appointments on ineffective treatments. Was this all to get me to buy more sessions? Maybe. Or maybe they didn't pay attention to what they were doing before. Either way, it was a waste of time away from my small child and a waste of money.The best thing I can say is that when you walk in, the smell of lavender is so relaxing and nice. You are usually greeted right away as well. Wait times aren't bad, but getting in for appointments can be a little "hairy" haha sometimes. The facility appears to be clean, too. :) I would not return to Spa Catalina.

Do no go here!!! I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal. I did everything I was told and made my appointments regularly. I saw no results and and around my second to last time, the technician informed me that the machine was not on the correct setting, when I mentioned how I NEVER felt any pain or sensation. I mean, I literally only felt the cold metal on my skin. So she then changed the setting and I finally felt the laser doing it's work. Unfortunately, too little too late. So I had no results from the time I spent. I decided to give them another shot with a brazilian. I mean, this is something I could do at home, if I could reach and see, so it should be pretty simple for someone who went to school for it, right? Wrong! The girl was nice, but holy moly did she miss A LOT of hair! I was amazed. How could she have felt that was okay? I ended up shaving when I went home. That's how much hair was left. At first, I thought maybe she has bad vision. Or maybe the light wasn't working in her favor. After a bit of thinking about it, I decided this place just seriously sucks. My Groupon was for two brazilians and I didn't even go back for the second. I have seriously never had a worse brazilian, P.S. I, in fact, have done a better job on myself.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this spa when trying to cancel my membership. I told the ladies that I was there only for about a year and was leaving in June, as I was only there for a short military assignment. When I reminded them 3 months out they did not say anything about submitting a written request to cancel the membership. Every month I went we talked about my departure and no one said anything about sending an email to the owner. I can only assume that since I informed them I would be all set. Once I left I was charged for another month and when I sent an email to the owner about it she basically told me that their policy states that they require written notice and that there is an additional rollover month after canceling. So they just charged me $119 for services that I cannot use since I'm already out of state, and further want to charge me another $119 next month for the rollover month. The owner has not been helpful and feels it's ok to charge people for services not rendered. The laser service I received while going there was not bad, but the spa can use a deep cleaning. Overall very disappointed due to the over charges.

I had the worst experience at this Spa Catalina! Went to get a Body Wrap. Technician that was doing my body wrap acted like that she had never wrapped anyone before by time I got to the table to lay down the wrap was coming off. I asked her was she new and she said no she had worked there for 3 years. Got on the table to start the heating process and realized that the technician had not measured me so there would be no way to tell if I had lost any inches! The technician came in to check on me I said you didn't measure me she said it okay you will lose inches for sure...smh! The heating table didn't heat up every well so I didn't even hardly sweat! When I was done spoke to who I think was the manager and after all of that they still charged me and asked me did I want to make another appointment WTH! Don't waste your money by going to Spa Catalina!Very Disappointed Customer. I would not recommend Spa Catalina to anyone!
