Signature Ballroom

We were looking for dance lessons for our wedding first dance and found Signature Ballroom on Groupon (2 lessons for $65, what a steal!). I set up our first lesson via text with Matthew Schissler and it was a great success. My fiance and I are not dancers and were quite nervous about the first dance, but Matthew made us feel comfortable and (most importantly) confident that we can do this. Matthew is teaching us how to dance socially, building it into our muscle memory, so that we can pick up dancing together for years to come. We plan to take 5 additional lessons after our first 2 that came with the groupon and we honestly can't wait. I could tell my fiance was actually having FUN with it by the end of our first lesson.

Abby makes dancing fun. My wife and I started taking lessons from Abby. She has made learning to dance a highlight for us. We look forward to our lessons. We just love the Australian accent!!Also, once you learn a little bit, you can join in the monthly parties at the studio. A great data night.

I have been taking lessons from Abby for 5 months now. I started with a Groupon, and my interest in learning more led me to continuing on with lessons.Compared to other studios I've seen, the cost of taking private lessons is very affordable. Abby works at your pace; if you need some extra time to learn a skill, she knows many drills to help you master it. If you are excelling, she will add in more material to make sure that you are always challenged and learning new material. She is also very flexible with scheduling and willing to work with you to find a time to meet for a lesson.Both Matt and Abby also teach group classes at Melange Dance & Events. Abby teaches West Coast Swing once a month on Saturday and Matt teaches a dance class whose genre rotates every few months. Both are excellent ways to be introduced to new styles of dance. Matt and Abby are great at motivating the group and making sure everyone is learning and having fun.

I've known Matt and Abby for several years now and had always wanted to ask them about dance lessons but without having any prior formal lessons was always too nervous. It wasn't until I attended an event with the two of them, until I first saw Matt and Abby dance together, that I knew that I wanted to take dance lessons from them. First of all, they're Great Dancers!! I was so impressed with how well they danced! But more importantly, I was amazed at how much fun they were creating for everyone on the dance floor (myself included). That next day I contacted Matt and Abby about lessons. I decided to take lessons from Abby and have since finished several satisfied months of lessons! We focused primarily on Swing and Foxtrot, both of which I feel confident with now, and I plan on taking lessons again in the future and following up on some of the other dances Abby introduced me to. As a beginner in dance I can highly recommend taking lessons from these two!Some pros from my lessons with Abby:- She was very flexible with my schedule which made my lessons possible to begin with- She is very knowledgeable in dance and could always answer any question I had for her- She taught me at my own pace which I enjoyed because we could breeze through the lessons I picked up naturally, or spend additional time on the lessons I would struggle with- Finally, I had so much fun with every lesson that my lessons quickly became one of the highlights of my every weekThanks again Abby!-Ben
