I shop here with some regularity in fact it's really where I buy the majority of my clothes I love it because it's in my neighborhood and I like to support local businesses but I also love the fact that she's got great unique pieces and I know that someone won't be wearing the same outfit. It is hands-down my go-to place to get gifts for my girlfriends. And there's a key there is everything she's got here is unique.

Super cute store featuring one of a kind clothing and jewelry from local designers and awesome larger ones (like free people and seychelles! looove those shoes!). The store itself is a sort of wonderland, with racks of fun, crocheted sweaters, cute dresses and interesting tops. Really different, but wearable, adorable and quirky finds from everything you need to be hip and stylish. Found urban hats, big purses, strands of pearls and funky wallets. Really, they thought of everything...You can even shop online, but it looks like much less than what they offer in store. Plus, half the fun is wandering around convincing yourself, sure you can afford that...its so cute!

They have a great selection here, especially since they use the hodgepodge approach of combining local designers with more well known brands. I always like to look for things that are local, because I feel like they are more unique and not as cookie-cutter as national brands may be. But, with uniqueness, also comes a somewhat high price tag. They do have some affordable items, but many of their sweaters are around $100 and their dresses are usually around $60. The jewelry also ranges from about $20-$60, depending on the piece. However, the clothing and jewelry are high-quality, so you will be getting a lot of use out of them. They also have purses, but many of them were hanging on the wall and I couldn't see the prices since I'm so short. :( Overall, the vibe is very hippie/bohemian, with some tye-dyed items, bright colors and patterns, and stripes.

Ohhhhhh this place is amazing!!! I want to go there again right now! I took my Mom there & we had so much fun! CINDY showed us how to use a scarf in so many ways! It's a place that anyone of any age can relate to and enjoy. It has a boutique feel with trendy & classic clothes. All different types of accessories. The staff are just so friendly and helpful. The owner finds items of interest from around the world. I also enjoy their social media content for different ideas and inspiration. This place is a Goldmine for the woman who needs retail therapy!

It seems a bit unfair for a guy to rate a store for whom that store offers absolutely no merchandise (unless the guy is a transvestite). But I've been there, many times. I've been there because my fiancé loves it and I love it when she's happy - so, I go. And since she loves Shop Girls so much, I bought her a couple items for Christmas. The girls at Shop Girls (Shop Girls girls?) are always very helpful, it's the kind of place where one-on-one service should be expected. I just can't imagine a scenario where someone would walk in and out without having a significant interaction with one of the couple of employees that are there at any one time. Shop Girls is a very low volume boutique. There are a very few number of any one item. And there's only a half-dozen areas where clothes are hung. I like the limited selection, they definitely go for quality over quantity BUT it may be a little too much on the limited side. Maybe a little bit more of a selection??? But then again, it works for them, they've been there a while and they are beloved by their fans - including my fiancé.

A word of caution: Don't go unless you have the money to spend. This is my major problem with ShopGirls -- I want **everything** in there because the store is the quintessential example of "Quality, not quantity." Clothes, jewelry, accessories, shoes: everything in the store is utterly appealing.Beyond simple aesthetics, they often have local products from Kansas City artists, the staff is the right amount of friendly and helpful, and their inventory changes regularly. And even though the shop has a boutique vibe, they stock their pieces in every size available (XS - XL).If you're in the Brookside area, this store is well worth a quick stop -- and it's right on your way to Foo's anyway.

Looking for cute clothes and accessories and your very own happy place? This darling shop always puts me in a good mood. Katy does a great job of making sure there's a wide selection of clothing and accessories, something for everyone. Rather than describing Shopgirls as "bohemian" or "hippie," I'd call it eclectic. The staff is always so friendly, patient and helpful. I try things lots of times before I make a decision and nobody rolls her eyes! Cute stuff you won't see on anyone else because it's so unique. Take a friend with you and have the most fun you've had in a long time.
