Sandy Long Travel Center

This TA plaza was the 1st stop in Missouri east bound on I-70. The travel center itself was a bit smaller and more compact than most but was well stocked with a good selection and variety of merchandise. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Attached to the travel center are a Popeye's and an IHOP. We stopped specifically because we saw that there was a Popeye's.It was late (after 8p) on Sunday night of the 4th of July weekend. Consequently, they were sold out of a few things and the guy at the counter kept apologizing for a somewhat limited selection. He was a very enthusiastic employee and was trying hard to be helpful.We found items suitable for diner (chicken strips for me and popcorn shrimp for the wife). All in all, it was a good meal despite several "out of stock" items. The good service and the clerk's positive attitude made up for the limited menu.

Big bright clean travel plaza with a Popyes on one side and a Country Pride on the other. Clean restrooms and store stocked with whatever your traveling heart may desire, even clothing. A/c is blasting. Coffee snacks and candy. Someone was sleeping on the bench outside when i was there so keep an eye out. Easy on and off the highway.

I love the staff at the TA truck stop. My family and friends are constantly up there for gas, snacks, lotto tickets, cuffs etc. They are super friendly, thoughtful and provide excellent customer service. Clean bathrooms, professional but not uptight service. Keep up the good work!

The TA truck stop closed the diner that alone is the reason for my 2 star rating. And they closed the Popeyes Chicken as well. It does have a lot of parking and a Ta Service center. I spent the night here but did not spend any of my cash . I chose to eat from my truck. I would have ate my breakfast in the diner if it had been open.

Do not go to the popeyes here it is the absolute worst one I have been to they didn't have what I was looking for it smell funny I didn't know if it w a s the food or the person taking the order idh if u r hungry and drive a semi go across to the wendy8

Horrible! Always takes forever and they never have more than one register open even if there's employees just freaking standing up there!
