The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because we always make reservations in advance before we eat at Sake Lounge, and we've still had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated every time. Not great when we have after-dinner plans.Once we've been seated, however, everything has always been great. I'm not a fan of sashimi, but my wife is, and she says the sashimi at Sake Lounge is some of the best in the area. Always fresh and displayed very nicely. I do like sushi rolls, though, and Sake Lounge has a large selection of options. Every type of sushi roll I've tried has been very good.Beyond sashimi and sushi, Sake Lounge offers a large dinner menu with a wide variety of Japanese/East Asian cuisine options. My personal favorites are the hibachi style dinners, especially the Steak and Scallop Hibachi dinner (they don't have hibachi tables in the dining room, fyi). And if young kids are joining you, they have a kids menu.The service has always been top-notch when we've eaten at Sake Lounge. The wait staff is always very friendly and attentive. And the restaurant itself is very spacious and has nice decor.It'll hit you in the wallet a bit, but Sake Lounge is well worth the price. Definitely go try it out!

Was greeted promptly and walked into a well kept, attractive, modern asian restaurant! Waitress promptly greeted me and took my order. I ordered two rolls, gyoza and a bowl of white rice. All were brought promptly! Presentation, freshness and taste were on point! I do not have anything bad to say. This was a great experience and I will be back!

Stopped by here for a late night dinner. I had only been here once before for lunch, and their bento box was great. We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly. The presentation of our food was amazing. My boyfriend's order was striking.I wasn't super hungry so I just ordered one roll, but I did have a large beer. They have a good selection and a very nice full bar, if interested. I love that they are open later and I am sure we will be back.

Wonderfully sweet customer service. Oh everything we received was fresh. The crab cream cheese wontons were definitely more so on the creamy sweet and side.The blueberry Mojito is a nice refreshing tasting drinking, real blueberries sweeten the drink not purée... even though purée would probably make the drink taste even better.

Hadn't been in years. Only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. Waitress was extremely friendly & attentive. Had tempura shrimp & sake to start. I had two Yum Yum roll, which had no rice. Loved it. Hubby had yellowtail, crispy red snapper rolls. He loved his too. Nice to see how the plates were decorated. Glad to see this place has not changed.

Nice place, odd set up, but clean and tables are spread out well. Service was good, prompt, & friendly. Food wasn't spectacular but the presentation fantastic. Kids loved the shrimp tempura app and the Boat A they shared. Bento box was a good portion as was everything else from the kitchen (Asian cuisine), I'm told it was delicious. The sushi entree just wasn't what I expected I couldn't finish it, 2 others said theirs was just okay. I'd go back but I'll order from the kitchen

My husband asked me to write this review for him, as he had a great experience here for lunch. He came with some coworkers to celebrate his boss's birthday. He said that the food, service, and atmosphere were excellent, and he would definitely come here again. The presentation of the sushi is beautiful. Okay, Sake is a hidden gem in Olathe! I greatly enjoyed my first visit and will surely be back. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is casual but upscale, the perfect place for catching up with friends. Now let's get to the food... as a lover of all things sushi, I ordered the Maki A to try a few different rolls. The house salad that came to start was delish and very fresh. I loved the peanut dressing. My entree arrived almost too pretty to eat, (almost!) and I enjoyed each of the three rolls - everything was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back to try some other menu items, as the others in my party had delicious looking meals as well!

Our first visit. We enjoyed it! The menu is large. Something for everyone. We enjoyed nigiri sushi and a roll for appetizers and hibachi seafood combos for our main course. The sushi is protein heavy and rice light which makes for a less filling and tasty combination. (Also, probably better for the overall bill, which is fine. ). Our entrees were tasty and ample. We haven't had hot sake in a while and really enjoyed that. For west coast transplants, this restaurant was a welcome find. It's not quite SoCal but dang good. Lastly, the service was top notch - super friendly and very attentive. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

Excellent food! One of the best Sushi restaurants we've eaten at. We shared a bowl of Japanese Seaweed salad that was well-seasoned. Chris had the Hibachi Beef and Chicken. The beef was tender and the chicken was flavorful! It came with Miso soup that was hot enough it hits the spot! I had the Yum Yum Roll and can I say, "It was very yum-yum!! It was so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it. Lol. Our server was very attentive. The place was huge and well-decorated!
